What is wrong with having some fun in life? She is a devoted mother to her son, and I am sure the baby is going to be well cared for while she participates. It’s possible her contract includes child care so he can be with her on location.
The Stars get paid $ 125,000 for the first 2 episodes and then $20,000 for each week thereafter . They also get an addition $50,000 bonus if they make it to week nine of the competition.
So it works out to a maximum of $ 245,000 after it is all said and done which is not all that much considering how much the ABC and the Advertisers make off the show.
(meaning . . . you are not too bright to suggest junior college as the responsible financial decision)

She really is a mess. Just happens that in the end it’s up to the person to succeed or fail in life on their own and if they don’t want to listen or take in their parent’s advice it’s up to them. Bristol is something else though and, I think, making it quite clear why she is in her predicament with all the bad decisions she makes.
