When are the gay activists going to target “Dancing With The Stars” so that we see same sex couples dancing? Don’t they have a rule that all couples must be boy/girl?
The gay activists successfully pressured “The Today Show” to include same-sex couples in a wedding contest. So I would expect that they will eventually target a show such as this, which has an “irrational, archaic” assumption that couples are opposite sex.

More Palin genius.
A distraction for the media. THAT can’t be bad.

I think it very odd. Does Governor Palin really want her daughter to be caught in the celebrity maw? Is this a sign that she has no intention running for president?

Living off her mom’s fame....shouldn’t she be signing up for classes at a junior college at this point in her life?
And who’s going to take care of her baby while she’s doing all the practice needed for this show?
Nice priorities....

Palin, who will dance with two-time champ Mark Ballas, said that she agreed to do the show because she was looking to try something new. "I was excited to jump on board and be a part of something that was positive and fun, leave the drama behind and get out of there for a while and be in California," she said. She did let her parents one of whom is 2008 Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin know about her new venture before it was announced. "I gave [my parents] a little bit of a heads-up, like, 'Hey, Mom! I signed a contract with 'Dancing with The Stars.' " Bristol Palin, Mark Ballas Paired For 'Dancing With The Stars'

You know, I watched this show for one season, and found it moderately entertaining.
Now I think it is inane.
So is the idea of Ms. Palin appearing on the show.
Really stupid and bad idea.
Sorry.

Living off her moms fame....More like part of the family business.

The daughter, Bristol has a mind of her own, which should be obvious by now. She is young, pretty, and why not have fun? It might lead to to meeting new people, and for sure she will learn to dance.
Good for her. Why not?

Not sure how I feel about this.... Yeah, you are.
If you're like me, you're wondering when this girl's 15 minutes are up.
And you're perhaps also wondering if she feels any embarrassment at all about the fact that the main reason she's on the show at all is because she birthed another celebrity's illegitimate grandchild.
Ahhhh, to be a member of the Tabloidocracy....

Living off her moms fame.... She wouldn't have been considered at all had she not also, quite publicly, had a child out of wedlock.

I’ve never watched the show before, but I think I’ll give it a try this season. Is the audience able to vote like American Idol?

My concern is that she (and her family by extension) may be seen as publicity mongers...
