The former Chairman of Connecticut’s Democrat Party can read the handwriting on the wall … even in the second most liberal state in the nation. But I’m telling you folks, when he yanks the welcome mat, it’s more than just news. This man is no small time Democrat Party hack. He’s well respected by Republicans and Democrats and I actually admire and like him very much. But he’s still a political animal, so while it may “shock and awe” the rest of the nation, not me. John Droney wants to win in November, and if that means throwing the President and the Speaker under the bus … beep, beep.

I’m on the main road from I-95 to the town center and beaches. Maybe I’ll put up a sign on my front lawn:

“Support Obama! Vote for Blumenthal!”

Or would “Support Nancy Pelosi! Vote for Blumenthal!” be better? Want to get it just right.

Unfortunately they will have to climb out from under the buss Obama has thrown them under to return the favor....Dims are in a state of panic and are looking for a scapegoat to blame for their stupidity....and when you are looking for stupidity another democrat is the logical pick!!!

Either way, it’s brilliant! Even better is to have the signs professionally printed and have a lot of them put up all over the place.

I’ve always been an advocate of fake “pro” advertising like this, that is actually a negative. I think it would be mind-boggling effective.

As a Ct resident (hangs head in shame) I want to be hopeful, but the odds stacked against a Ct Republican are huge. Democrats have succeeded at putting a very large percentage of voters on the government dole.

I did meet Jerry Labriola who is challenging flying monkey Rosa DeLaura in the 3rd and he is a good candidate. If he can’t do it, no one can.

Fake but true!...lol....I wouldn't be saying I support Blumenthal just if anyone votes for him they are supporting Pelosi and Obama. Who can dispute that?

Rosa has stayed in because of constituent services. My aunt passed away this year at 100. She and her husband hated FDR. They were always Republicans. A decade ago I was stunned to hear her praise DeLaura. Turned out her son (a Republican) had spent months trying to resolve an issue with his mom's private insurance from Ponds (now Unilever) and Medicare. He was going nowhere. One phone call to Rosa's office got the mess straightened out in two days. She also has won because the old Wooster Street crowd sees her as one of them. I know elderly Sicilians who are devout Catholics but vote for pro-abortion Rosa the Red just because she came up as they did. Rosa may stay but I wouldn't be negative about CT as a whole. Things do change. Towns around me even under FDR were running 3 to 1 Republican. He was pumping a lot of money into CT in the 30s and 40s but many refused the bait. Nothing is forever. We could this year see the power structure weakened.

“Rosa has stayed in because of constituent services.”

This is a poor reason to vote for DeLauro considering how much damage she has done to Ct.

And the country. But constituent services are important. Democrats win in many areas because they take them more seriously. Its not just giving away stuff either. People remember who helped them solve little problems with paperwork.

I don’t vote that way and from what you say, you don’t either. But many do.

Jim Himes (D) in CT4th (Chris Shay’s old seat) is already running TV ads on cable that he is an Independent. HA! he votes with Pelosi 94% of the time, just another Pelosi puppet.
