I wonder if JP-8 can be recycled as diesel?
I worked for a company once that had two small refineries and produced most of the military jet fuel used in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico. We used the stock in our rigs, trucks and my car... it made GREAT diesel!

On top of this, I saw an article on Drudge a few days ago where a UN inspector stated that Iran now had enough nuclear material for one, possibly two, nuclear bombs.
If they can assemble them, I think their most probable course of action would be to hand these weapons over to one of their sponsored terrorist groups (most likely Hezbullah) with orders to sneak them into Israel and detonate them. These weapons would not have to be sleak and compact like most other nations' nukes, as they will likely be carried to their targets in the backs of trucks or vans.
Likely targets would be Tel Aviv and Haifa, although they risk damaging Jerusalem due to the fact that it is the most populous city in Israel. Even if they don't hit Jerusalem, the death toll could easily top one million. (it makes my stomach churn just thinking about it)
I wonder how the rest of the muslim world would react to a nuclear conflict between Israel and Iran? I know that a lot of them would love to see Israel wiped off the face of the Earth, but would they risk nuclear attack by backing Iran if they do succeed in hitting Israel with nukes?

I'm no math whiz...
but that is 384 million gallons for 2 billion bucks comes out to nearly $5.21 a gallon. If true, sounds like Øbama is screwing the Jews again--!

What the heck??!!
As our sole true supporter in the War on Terror ans being the frontline in this war, Israel should NOT be sold this fuel at all!!
It should have been given to them freely with no strings attached!!

This will cause a raise in fuel prices her because we are not allowed to process enough fuel with our Enviornutzies. We need more refineries and Israel has oil now so they need refineries also.

"I explained, as I have in the past, how it would be necessary for the US to supply the massive amounts of fuel need for such a [-n Israeli] strike. If Israel were to strike Iran, Israel would only require the massive amounts of jet fuel and over a billion litres of jet fuel would be more that enough to do the job in practical terms."
A billion litres would be more than enough -- that's an understatement. Thanks dselig.

>>”According to military experts, the shelf life of JP-8 jet fuel is not long - no more than six to eight months.”
If this limitation is true, that would narrow the time of Israels attack on Iran to between the delivery date of the fuel, and maybe 3 months before the expiration date.
To calculate the expiration date, one must know WHEN it was produced. That would be some range of dates.
