There’s always Mapquest.
Just go to the general vicinity and look for the HUGE crowd!
In general I agree with you. It is not all that difficult to find the Lincoln Memorial. But my point in posting this, in case you missed it, is that Google is attempting to manipulate the situation and, surprise, is acting deliberately in bad faith, not that people might get lost.
It seems rather “1984”.
I just did a Google Maps search (0745 CDT) and it zeroed right in on the Lincoln Memorial.
Google are a bunch of commie loving punks anyways. I have been studiously avoiding them. I use www.ixquick.com
I didn’t even realize we had an FDR memorial. I learned something new from Google this week.
If there is an FDR memorial, I think we need to begin work on the Reagan Memorial. He was the most significant President in the second half of that century.

It seems rather futile. A bunch of childish libs taking their pathetic “best shot”.
It’s the smell of defeat and depression (for them). Like the smell of urine in the staircase of a downtown parking garage.
I thought I was going to hate it, but actually the FDR memorial is really moving, not because of him, but because of what is portrayed there: the people standing in bread lines.
Shows how fanatical and relentless the leftist wackos are.
FDR was a commie
I repeated the search. It did not work the second time. Interestingly though, the results of the first search showed a photograph of the “Washington Memorial” obelisk.

You would get it today. Most people are already there. No point in deceiving Americans now. They can say it was a mistake and they corrected it.
I am sure CPUSA headquarters is easily found.
Maybe they fixed it after they got outed at redstate. Did you go to the link and look at what came up for them on the screen shot?
Needs to happen soon, as space is running out with all the Memorials. The MLK Jr. Memorial, with it’s Maoesque statue, is being dropped in between the FDR and the Mall, across Indie Ave from the DC WWI Memorial.
