You’re probably right!
I was in DC last month. A few public transit buses come to town, but I noticed that a significant number of them only run from certain neighborhoods to the nearest Metro stations. Personally, I think that is a much more efficient means of public transit and traffic control. Where I live, we have narrow streets, tons of buses and perpetual gridlock. I wish we had a similar transit system.
