On Tuesday, lacking even the excuse that a Rolling Stone reporter tricked him, another top U.S. military commander thumbed his nose at President Barack Obama's policies in Afghanistan.
Marine Corps Commandant James T. Conway, 62, Tuesday told a roomful of reporters at the Pentagon that Mr. Obama's July 2011 deadline for beginning troop withdrawals from Afghanistan is "probably giving our enemy sustenance.... We've intercepted communications that say, Hey, you know, we only have to hold out for so long.'"
Gen. Conway went on to say that Mr. Obama was no doubt "talking to several audiences" when he announced the July 2011 deadline, suggesting that the president may have being coy when he outlined his Afghanistan policy in a speech at West Point last December.

I want them to uphold the oath they took to support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign, and domestic. Obozo is a domestic enemy of the United States of America, IMHO.
I don’t disagree. He also wants to remain President, I assume, so will do the absolute least amount to protect our interests occasionally. I guess more than anything, I am uncomfortable with the direction Obama is taking us, and also with the quandary the military is in- mostly due to having a Dem as President (albeit the most radical leftist ever). I also have extreme cognitive dissonance ;) I also worry for the men and women who speak up- I’m afraid they will be harmed, and that not enough in the military will say or do anything. It’s a rotten mess we all are in.
The outcome of the 2010 and 2012 elections will greatly impact the future of this nation with respect to whether we continue being a nation IMHO. If this clown isn’t checked after November, and replaced after 2012, your fears will echo throughout the country.
