Liberals plot to ‘Turn off Fox News’ in public places
San Francisco Examiner ^ | 8/26/2010

SNIP...Here is their credo:

Some businesses play Fox without having thought about it at all, and may not know how divisive and dangerous Fox is. Turn Off Fox will help you work with others in your area (and across the country) to identify places that play Fox, ask them to change the channel, and explain why they should.

It’s easy! Arm yourself with a few PDFs and make your case. After that, report back to your leaders, notify them where Fox is playing, and tell them how the business owner responded to you.

For the ‘Turn off Fox’ers,’ Fox News is not just a channel for news, its a channel for evil.

“Fox News isn’t just the home for hate, it’s the home for dangerous and lazy journalism.” says featured member Malkia Cyril, “It’s time for the public to turn off Fox News’ lies.”

I wrote this thought on another thread a couple days ago. Last fall, NBC had the Leno/Obrien meltdown, which they abruptly fixed after claiming to lose millions and their sponsers threatening them. However, their news networks perform terribly against FOX. Why are they in no hurry to make a change and compete against FOX? This has been going on since NBC had a cable news network. CNN and the others and can also follow suit as well, and take the enemy “FOX” out by simply trying to find out what makes FOX successful and them unsuccessful. I think some of them can almost claim to be a non-profit organization.

Being born and bred in the NW corner, I don’t think I know anyone there. But if I realize I do, I will surely tell them.

CT used to be very conservative, and yes you are right Weicker and his whole admin. did a fine job of destroying our state and every agency in it. There hasn’t been a good gov. since Grasso.

It's similar to the Public Skoolz situation, where indoctrination into the "feel good", "diversity", "embrace failure" mentality is in-grained from K-12, then re-inforced vociferously in Colleges with Liberal professors. The former Soviet Union and Pravda PALES IN COMPARISON to what we have going on in this Progressive Society today.

Isn't that the truth! Here at work (a VERY large software, r&d company, you'd recognize the name) we watch NOTHING but the excerable CNN. When I point out to the moonbats here that CNN is tanking in the ratings, biased, etc., their only defense is the typical 'Faux News' rant. It's funny, this company sure doesn't 'embrace failure', but they do have a 'diversity wall'.

Maybe we should all start complaining about CNN being on... They try to shut us down, we should return the favor.

“ROFL Ok a disclaimer here, I love in MA, and frequent my home state of CT, where I was born and raised, and lived till 7 years ago. BUT, in either state, I have not visited a public place that has FOXNEWS on, EVER!

You can say that again. I live in MA. Five years ago, my husband had back surgery at N.E. Baptist hospital. I sat in the waiting room for six hours, listening to CNN. I couldn’t change the channel. To make matters worse, it was the day that Fitzgerald came in with his decision against Scooter Libby, so I had to listen to it ad nauseum. During his four day stay, I discovered that they didn’t even have FOX! I couldn’t believe it. I shouldn’t have been surprised, now that I think of it.
