On Sunday I was honored to be a speaker at the rally against building the mosque at ground zero put on by the Coalition to Honor Ground Zero. As the rally concluded, thousands of the participants marched the one block from the rally site to the actual site of Ground Zero.
I noticed a man in black shirt with a phone camera aggressively questioning and haranguing a gentleman with the sign, “No Sharia Here.” He was very aggressive, disrespectful and condescending; apparently, he did not like the man’s answers about Shariah and pushed the point: “Why do you feel threatened? What are you afraid of? Why can’t you answer my questions?”
My instincts told me to document the scene, and I took out my camera. I originally thought he was a supporter of the mosque (they’d gathered in much smaller numbers a few blocks away), or some kind of fringe reporter for a small, even fringier leftist paper. When I challenged the man in the black shirt, asking him to tell me what media outlet he worked for, he refused to answer. He walked away.

Oh my god - this is the guy who came up to me and took issue with my sign, which said “NO MOSQUE AT GROUND ZERO - IT’S NOT ABOUT FREEDOM OF RELIGION - IT’S ABOUT RESPECT FO THE (3,000) DEAD”. He said, “Are you sure it was 3,000 and not 2,997? Isn’t it disrespectful not to know exactly how many people died?” He was totally condescending and mocking. I told him “Who care’s what you think?” and walked away. Wow - I’m totally amazed. I assumed he was from some fringe news outlet - turns out it was ABC - well, come to think of it, I wasn’t far wrong!

Since they’ve all fallen in lockstep with a clearly minority opinion it’s pretty obvious this guy and his ilk are incapable of thinking for themselves.

A definite breach of professional ethnics by ABC.
Oh, what am I saying? The mainstream media has no professional ethics, or any other kind of ethics for that matter.
I hide my old press card in order to save it for Show & Tell where I can tell young children that it was once an honorable profession.
I would be afraid of the establishment of Cannon or Rabbinical law as well.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the man is “swarthy,” either.
Get back to me when Christian and or Jewish terrorists kill 3000 Americans and then want to build a Church or Synagogue on their graves.
