Same here -- I consider it to be highly insulting.
Also, if you are going to display text, you should increase the kerning slightly -- the letters blur together at TV and lower resolutions.
Think of it as not being read to. Honestly that wasn’t my intention. Think of it as captioning. I just wanted to make sure the words that I was speaking was fully heard/understood. In the future I will definitely take it under consideration!

BTW visitors from 88 countries (yesterday) in 36 languages (about average) to AntiMullah tend to make your opinion and preferences irrelevant as they do not care how I post on Free Republic and without AntiMullah would not even know about the videos or what is going on in the USA AND AROUND THE WORLD.

Folks who find a video, embed it on a blog, and post a teaser
here causing folks to visit the blog to see the video.. that I have a problem with.
It's pimping and pimps deserve to be smacked.
I create lots of video presentations. My advice to increase the kerning (space between letters) to improve readability is still valid...
By your definition of pimping, using someone else’s “work” to bring in visitors applies equally to a video hoster like YouTube - using other’s work to bring in viewers and in their case money.
In the same way by YOUR definition a discussion forum like FR is also “pimping” work from elsewhere to bring in viewers with lots of clicking in all directions.
To use the same broad brush you use on others, So is your posting pings to have people read what you want them to - is pimping yourself.
In any event, you come across as a grumpy old man with a silly hang up trying to impose your viewpoint of how YOU want things done. That's not a discussion. And out of place until you replace Jim Robinson and have the right to impose how you want FR to be used. He does, you do not.
Using a self-righteous slogan about pimps deserving being slapped is a slogan intended to tar and feather when facts fail to support your stance. Take a look in the mirror next time you misuse insults. And stop picking fights pro bab ly out of boredom. Get a life.
