Beaten badly by Hillary, does Lazio refuse to debate ever again?

(BUFFALO, NY) - Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino, a Republican candidate for Governor of New York, today bashed Rick Lazio for declining a debate on statewide television and offered his opponent additional debate venues and dates.

"Rick Lazio has an obligation to stand up and tell Republican voters what he believes in," Paladino said. "Sadly, he just refuses to debate. I want every Republican in New York to know I will meet Rick to debate the issues on any street in any town in any county of this great state."

To underline the his open offer to debate, the Paladino campaign today accepted debate invitations from 970AM "The Apple" in New York City and Fred Dicker's radio show on Talk 1300AM in Albany. Many dates are available for either media venue.

"Rick Lazio insults the voters if he expects them to believe that he simply has no time to debate for the next three weeks," Paladino said. "I've never been in a debate before. If he can't debate me, how can he debate Andrew Cuomo?"

"New York Republicans still see Hillary Clinton's heel marks all across Rick Lazio's back. I'm sure the humiliating defeat by one first time candidate makes Rick wary of showcasing his weaknesses again,"Paladino said.

The GOP needs to grow some if they expect to rule in the next elections.

Well thats a little unfair since Hillary! won her debate with Lazio by using the ‘he hit a girl!’ strategy.

I saw him last sunday- he is the REAL DEAL

HE spend 10 minutes talking to my little daughter- he was as nice and gracious to her as you could be- that is how you recognize a real family man~!

And his absolutley lovely little girls were there (2 I think) and they were nice and polite and obviously have a great upbringing
