Yesterday I reported about the Austin Texas teenage girl who was walking to High School for her first day of class when she was as the police reported then, nearly raped by four men. I was quite taken by surprise that the police would say that a teen girl having been abducted by four men who actually removed some of her clothing was not sexually assaulted. The girl told police that four men in a silver Ford truck grabbed her and assaulted her on her way to school.
Well in an update on the story, I found this video news report where the police now say they are looking for the suspects to charge them with attempted kidnapping and attempted sexual assault. So even though the police said their was no sexual assault, they do admit now that the men tried to kidnap and assault her.
Follow this link to see a video report about the incident.
Ok, I still have a problem with them only claiming the men attempted to assault her. Excuse me, but if they were able to take off articles of her clothing, then in my book, that IS a sexual assault. They were successful in their attempt, so they should be charged with sexual assault not attempted. It was detective Santiago Torres who told the media yesterday that,
"There was no sexual assault. They were able to take off articles of her clothing but it did not turn into an actual sexual assault."
Yesterday I said here that I could only guess that if this is not a case of aggravated sexual battery, then it can only mean that if there is no sexual penetration that it is just a simple cased of a panty raid. I went on to make an accusation that when they round up these men that they may find out they were all members of a fraternity at the University of Texas, and they were on a pantie raid.
I still stand by my original statement that I pray for common sense to be exercised by the police and prosecutes in Austine, so that the women there, my daughters and granddaughters included can know that if they are attacked the perpetrators will be convicted as if they succeeded in their attack. After all, if clothing is forcibly removed without the woman's consent, it is a successful sexual assault, not an attempted one. Otherwise they might as well charge the suspects with an unlawful panty raid.
One more note on this sad tale, what are the odds, that when they find the suspects,we will learn that a few or all of the suspects will be illegal aliens?
I gleaned my information from the following sites. If you would like to read more then you can go to them at Statesman.com , KLBJRadio.com
It was after the radio report by KLBJ that bloggers across America picked it up that a firestorm began to brew.
And we still have those who would claim that bloggers have no influence and should just go away and quit bugging people.
Interesting twist and turn !
Back in my college days, we had a name for very good looking H.S. girls. The term is “jailbait” !
I am back, and about 75% healthy, but healthy and active enough to get started again. I do want to extend my heartfelt thanks for all the prayers and concern for me. Your prayers to God have done me wonders. Thank you all.
Now to jump right in I am presenting a video report about an assault in Austine Texas where the police originally said it was not a sexual assault even though cloths were removed. Now they are upgrading it to attempted kidnapping and assault
I have two daughters and the granddaughters living in Austine and I was outraged when I first heard about the story, now *I am happy the police are getting serious, but still wonder why a police dept would not just say sexual assault when clothing is forcibly removed from an woman who does not want it done? ...

“...they may find out they were all members of a fraternity at the University of Texas, and they were on a pantie raid.”
By Bowie High School? I don’t think so. It doesn’t really jive with the victim’s account, either.
You need to read what I wrote about the whole incident yesterday to understand mu comment. Otherwise it will sound silly.
Since when does “panty raid” mean ripping the panties off of a live female? Panty raid used to mean when a bunch of college guys attempted to enter a Sorority house and steal the panties from the lingerie drawers, or off the clothes line in the bath room. Or collect the garments from sorority girls waving them out the windows.
I’d call this act sexual assault at the minimum.
Here’s a thought: Maybe the police didn’t know all the information at the beginning.
Here’s another thought: The police don’t decide what the final charge will be, the prosecutor does that.
Final thought: Prosecutors responding to public pressure causes bad things to happen like the Duke lacrosse case.
but it wasn’t “rape” rape. Whoopi said so. /s
There’s a 99.99% chance the perps are all non-English speaking parasites from mexico, here illegally. Those are a protected species of insects in ATX.

That all depends on the definition of "rape rape."
The truck is described as follows:
* Older model silver Ford pickup * 4 doors with small dent on the tailgate * Tinted back window * Blue tarp in bed of truck * Loud music
The males are described as:
Suspect #1
* Hispanic or black male * Early 20s * 6 feet tall, muscular build * Last seen wearing: * Diamond earring in right ear * Blue baseball cap with white brim * Baggy denim shorts with plaid boxer shorts * Red and white Jordan Tennis Shoes
Suspect #2
* Hispanic male, dark complexion * Early 20s, muscular build * Last seen wearing: * Yellow/orange DC logo shirt * Yellow Nike tennis shoes * Blue baseball cap with white brim
Suspects #3 and #4
* Hispanic males * 20 years of age * Blue baseball caps with white brims
That is the mental nature of our students today...they did not know that a panty raid did not include taking along the girl who happened to be wearing them at the time.
Kind of like the way they cannot get themselves to say “Arab Male” when reporting about acts of terrorism or suspected members of a terrorist plot.
Precisely!
