PHOENIX - The Latino group Somos America has announced a boycott of Budweiser products in Arizona, targeting Hensley Beverage Company, which distributes Bud and Bud Light. Hensley Beverage Company made political contributions to state lawmakers who voted in favor of SB 1070. Somos America, Spanish for "We are America," says SB 1070 leads to fear and hate towards the Latino community, so until Hensley publicly denounces the law, people should not buy Bud or Bud Light.
"I will no longer drink Budweiser. It has been a favorite of mine but no more, I refuse to give my money to enterprises that finance sponsors of hateful public policies that hurt me, my family, my neighbors, and hurt the state of Arizona," says Roberto Reveles from Somos America.
Somos America says it's met with Hensley attorneys but has gotten nowhere. The distribution company refused an interview, but sent a statement saying it is deeply disappointed.
"This call for a boycott is an obvious cheap political stunt motivated solely by self-promotion and is clearly counterproductive to what is in the best interest of our state and its citizens," Hensley statement...
I love Cheladas but prefer one made at the bar, or make my own: Beer, juice of two lemons or three limes, generous splash of Worcestershire, light sprinkle of soy sauce, tablespoon of red chile sauce and black pepper medium grind. I will have to try the Clamato option.
It is the Cindy beverage distributor. I am sure the boycotters will come round once McQueeg reverts to his open borders/amnesty agenda.
I am sure Budwiser is closing up their plants as we speak. Make that 85% of America. lol

I don’t know where you live, but if you can get it, for the chile sauce I recommend “Salsa Bufalo Original” or Goya’s Salsitas “Chile de Arbol.” Tabasco will do in a pinch, but it’s not the same.

This has nothing to do with "Latino from the Southwest" or "Italian from New York" or "Norwegian from Minnesota" or "Scotch-Irish" from West Virginia" or "Pennsylvania Dutch" or "creole French-speaking Cajuns from Louisiana". America has has an abundance of different ethnic groups since 1776.
This has to do with ILLEGAL FOREIGNERS.
It has nothing to do with Americans of latino ethnic heritage or any other ethnic heritage.

Here in NM the convenience stores have wall to wall cases of Bud Light and they restock them several times per week! Guess who does most of the buying?
