Conservative Jesse Kelly wins Arizona 8 House Primary (something to be happy about in Arizona)
Arizona Secretary of State ^ | August 25, 2010

Good news for those of you who where down in the dumps in Arizona over your Senate primary - there were in fact other big primaries on the ballot and conservative Jesse Kelly won in the Arizona House District 8.

KELLY, JESSE 32,152
MILLER, BRIAN 5,193
PATON, JONATHAN 26,431
QUICK, JAY 1,421
Write-in 175

So please cheer up - you have an excellent candidate that needs your help in that district - forget about McCain - he can sink or swim on his own - he may be a pain in the future but we can't worry about that right now - be positive and focus your energy on other candidates - there are plenty good candidates that need your help which is more constructive than being disappointed or angry about McCain. Put on your smiley faces!

Hooray!! My sister lives in Tucson.

That race in the fall should be attractive to watch.

Hopefully, Jesse can expose Giffords for the liberal swine that she is.

There was definitely some good news in the Arizona primary - there is a worthwhile battle to be fought that doesn’t involve John McCain. This House seat is one that needs to be won - and Jesse Kelly is an excellent candidate.

Looks like Ben Quayle is winning too. He had a great ad which starts out saying “Barack Obama is the worst president in history”. Gotta support somebody who makes ads like that!

I was wondering about his race and I am very pleased.

Notice how many Republican positions are being fought for but the RAT spots are mostly uncontested? It’s like everybody knows a smack-down is happening and they want to be on the winning side.

His size alone will make Gabby look weak in a debate.

And he's young, to boot. I think he's 29...and an Iraq war veteran.
