“I’m also tired of all those “marvelous conservatives” out there...

...Governor Tom McClintock, Senator Chuck DeVore, President Duncan Hunter — and now, Senator Hayworth...

...not being able to master the art of RETAIL politics.”

I agree. Something is wrong that they can’t win. but I don’t agree if your saying they suck because they lost. They lost because America is being hoodwinked. I again don’t want to pile on Palin, but it is important to note she didn’t support DeVore or Hayworth. No she had to support Fiorina and McCain. She supported Todd Tiahrt in Kansas and he lost. She can’t have it both ways and support the “alleged” conservative in one state and the Rino in the other.

The Palinistas are already attempting damage control. “She showed up for one day and disappeared”

Yeah;-)

And she forgot to take her 750 radio plugs with her ;-)

Now the current spin from the Palinistas is that Sarah 'distanced herself' from McCain in the last month or so, which is no different than the arsonist who sets a rooming house on fire, and then retreats or is that ("advances in a different direction, snicker") to watch the flames soar to the upper floors and consume the residents. The damage was done, Sarah's job was complete. Now she is two-for-two, the traitor-RINO McCain will be back in the Senate for 6 years or until he croaks like his 'dear friend' Fat Teddy, and McCain's RINO-crony Carly Fiorino in California just might eke out a win against Boxer.

Yep. Can't wait to see the Palin Protectorate here on FR post those victory threads on Palin's endorsements - especially about McIinsane.

I am willing to bet a lot of Dems voted for McCain in the primary if that is allowed in AZ.

Yeah, that is plausible. Either that or massive voter fraud, which I guess that is, but bottom line, they may have been willing to vote for that man in the primary even if it meant they couldn't vote for the demon in November, if it meant that they could keep JD out of the club.

“How can a state that is willing to fight the President over illegal immigrants continue to elect this idiot RINO.”

They had Janet Napolitano as Governor so... My Kansas is no better for we had Kathleen Sebelius.

McCains name will be conspicuous by his absence.

Might as well be a third party. This situation is perfect for one because you might as well elect the demon rather than that old demon fart again.

Correct!

If center-right wins you are sheltered from far left.
If center-right loses, you get screwed by Obama, reid & Pelosi.

I would have preferred the mild groping by McCain over the
royal screw job from Obama.

Just read my tag line...it says it all.

Of Course I would much prefer that JD Hayworth, Rand Paul types win every election. But reality tells me that can not happen all the time. It is a combination of voter ignorance, millions of liberal voters and crooked elections.

Q - How soon will McCain begin reverting to his liberal-progressive positions?
A - How ‘bout 5:00 pm this coming Friday?

That long?

"How could Nixon have won the election? No one -I- know voted for him."
-attributed to Pauline Kael, November 1968

"How could McCain have won the election? No one -I- know voted for him."
-attributed to various Freepers, August 2010

FR is a great place, I love the posts and discussions, but I never let myself forget that Freepers are a segment, of a segment, of a segment, of the voting public.

And when we ban vocal supporters of various RINO candidates (although interestingly enough, there has never been a purge of McCain rooters) we become more insular still.

The worst part is that his next term will likely be his last, so get ready for betrayal on a scale you never seen before.

We’ll finally see his traitorious liberal colors in full bloom as he allies with the usurper.

I will still support Sarah, but she may have caused us untold destruction.

Hayworth can still run as an independent. Except that McNutcase is heavily funded by the “machine” and they spent 26 Million just to get McNasty to win this pissant primary.

The corruption of McCain is hard to equal. He has money rat holed from this past election and nobody dares investigate him. He has powerful Democrat buddies who are counting on him in the next 2 years to get their agenda through.

America is history and McCain will retire after the next 6 years all fat and nasty.

For some reason your name is quite familiar. Do you happen to live in California by any chance? Oh never mind. You can't answer...

May be they recognized JD could’nt win in November.
May be they recognized McCain is a sure bet to win in November.

May be they prefer McCain over a left-wing democrat from AZ.
May be they believe in my tag line.

May be RINO trolls can't recognize one Liberal Socialist, Crap & Tax, Amnesty destroyer from another......

According to you, all that matters is Party affiliation. Like Snowe, Graham, Collins, McVain, and so on.

One question for you;.....Do you smell ozone?

A super-right candidate who loses in general election
has ZERO power to change anything.

I am a realist, you are a dreamer.

McCain has always been my last choice in GOP, but I prefer his
positions on military, taxes, abortion, etc over any democrat.

Arizona cannot recall federal officeholders. The recall provision in Arizona’s constitution was never intended for them. It is for state officeholders only.

Arizona’s admission as a state was held up by President Taft because the proposed constitution had a recall provision in it and it included judges. Recall was an innovation by the progressives, pioneered in California, that Taft didn’t like it at all. Arizona removed the offending provision in order to gain statehood but it delayed admission by a month, putting it behind New Mexico. Hence the nickname “The Baby State”. As soon as statehood was attained the people of Arizona put the recall provision back in.

Arizona was admitted early in 1912. The 17th amendment was not ratified until more than a year later. When the recall was added to the state constitution Arizonans could not even vote for a Senator much less recall them.

Both Senator McCain and Senator Kyl have pledged to voluntarily abide by the result of any recall attempt but they are not obligated to by law.
