Happy Belated Birthday

I bet Robert & family are happy to be moving into a house whether they have furniture or not. LOL

I bet you have mixed feelings over that, huh? Is it far away or local?

Far enough. It's only about 25 miles. But those are 25 miles from NYC through Long Island. It might as well be Ohio.

She's dorming there. I'll see her on her birthday, on Labor Day weekend. (Briefly, I'll bet, as she's goes out and parties with her friends.) But she'll be back. We have to jar tomatoes the next day.

LOL

I'm a worrier by nature so I can relate to that.

Oldest granddaughter was talking about going away to Cornell University when she graduates and I was in a panic with her being so far away. She's now talking about going to one closer to home (≤ 25 miles? we hope LOL).

Thank you. Yes, I imagine having a place of their own after several weeks of being in a Hotel will be much enjoyed. Hopefully their furniture arrives soon thereafter.

My duaghter's roommate is from Southern California.

I'm betting that sometime before Christmas, we'll have a sleepover guest for the weekend.
