I knew what the score would be before the polls even opened. 0-0.
Any idea when results will be posted? I’d like to check back when they are.
Turnout EXTREMELY low at my precinct. Sorry to say, I was not allowed to vote in the big race (McHasbeen v J.D.), so I voted in a couple of important local/county/state races and wrote-in Joe Arpaio for Governor and my local ex-sheriff for lame-ass Ann Kirkpatrick, our congressgirl.
Yes, I maintain my dem party registration, mainly so I can have a say-so in local politics, and so I can squelch those who hear my conservative views and accuse me of holding Republican knee-jerk views. I enjoy that.
This has been John McCain’s race since the day the race started. Its been over for months no matter how hard some people on here have wished otherwise. Arizona will still have a RINO senator come next swearing in.

Everyone should keep in mind that Arizona is not on Daylight Savings Time, so the time there is the same as the West Coast.
We’ve got another half an hour for the polls to close.
CBS reporting:
McCain 63%
JD 26%

Damn it damn it damn it GOD DAMN IT
Just when you think that the people of my home state might actually have an ounce of God damn sense in their heads for supporting SB 1070, they cheerfully turn around and pass a sales-tax increase and give this miserable old backstabbing f__kstick a chance to keep his seat.
I have officially given up all hope for the future. To hell with the not-so-good people of Arizona, to hell with John McF__kingCainAndAbel, to hell with the border anyway, to hell with the Republican party, and to hell with the American dream.
This is the proof, friends and neighbors. We now know exactly which way the winds of public opinion are blowing. All the might of the Tea Party and the true conservatives couldn’t unbrainwash the damned, damned, DAMNED fools of Arizona. What hope does the rest of the country have, if the people who LIVE right in the middle of one of this country’s greatest problems are too deaf, blind, and thick-skulled even to notice it and realize what has to be done?
THE SHOW IS OVER. Will the last free man in America please turn out the lights?
But don’t turn them out just yet. We’re trying to watch Jersey Shore.
From the CNBC story at Drudge; “But by spending freely and by acting as if he might lose, the senator managed to turn things around. Mr. McCain tapped into money left over from his failed presidential effort, spending more than $20 million (compared with about $3 million for Mr. Hayworth) making his visage and his harsh attacks on Mr. Hayworth omnipresent on Arizonas airwaves.
Mr. McCains spending was among the highest ever for a Senate primary in Arizona and, depending on turnout, could translate into more than $75 a vote, political analysts said.”
Now that the little people are out of the way, it should be back to business as usual stabbing his party and the nation in the back.
