Primary Election Results
$21 million dollars he bought the race....may his days be numbered.....
:-)
McShame is, and always has been a f***ing blight on the nation, ever since his Navy days. He has disgraced my Navy, he has disgraced Arizona and the United States, and I'd say he's disgraced himself, but McShame has no f***ing honor or character or principles.
Looks like Ben Quayle won.
BUMP!!!
These are the least surprising election returns we have ever seen. There are few things more certain than the stubbornness of the voters of AZ. Those people can have their alien problem and deal with themselves. J.D. can win ever debate and fail, for the people are immovable.
It doesn’t help that independents can vote in the republican primaries.
Atleast Jessie Kelly won as well.
The only dumber rocks than in AZ are in SC. But truly there are a lot of dummies in all states; we just can’t call them that.
Those AZ voters are so uninformed that most are just voting for the name that they have heard of.
McPain would have still won a closed Republican primary by a comfortable margin too. The problem we have are the fifth columnists within the Republican Party.
“It doesnt help that independents can vote in the republican primaries.”
Can’t some grass roots people do something to pressure the AZ GOP and undo the open primary voting?
“Those AZ voters are so uninformed that most are just voting for the name that they have heard of.”
You would think AZ voters would vote against McAmnesty after all their problems with illegals. Go figure.
Do not yield. Do not flinch;)
On a happier note, nearly everyone else I voted for won. :)
(Just to clarify, that's not a curse, it's a prayer for help.)
The late Earl Long of Louisiana once said he didn’t care what a newspaper wrote about him so long as they spelled his name right. He knew that the “little guy” could remember the name “Earl Long” even though he wouldn’t know the details of politics. It’s a matter of leading uninformed people around by the hand.
Like the Eddie Murphy movie “The Distinguished Gentleman”, where he takes the name of the recently deceased congressman, and goes around with the slogan “Jeff Johnson - The Name You Know.”
From the CNBC story at Drudge; “But by spending freely and by acting as if he might lose, the senator managed to turn things around. Mr. McCain tapped into money left over from his failed presidential effort, spending more than $20 million (compared with about $3 million for Mr. Hayworth) making his visage and his harsh attacks on Mr. Hayworth omnipresent on Arizonas airwaves.
Mr. McCains spending was among the highest ever for a Senate primary in Arizona and, depending on turnout, could translate into more than $75 a vote, political analysts said.”
Now that the little people are out of the way, it should be back to business as usual stabbing his party and the nation in the back.
So much for campaign finance reform.
