What a silly concept for an article. At the first hint that a mosque was going up, the New York mob would have lynched everyone involved and then went on a rampage killing Jews and blacks for good measure. The question never would have made it to the attention of the Founders.
I might be a bigot but I’m not going to have the intent of the founding fathers explained to me by anyone named “Ahmed”.
Freedom of religion is indeed sacrosanct.
But Islam is not primarily a religion at this time. It is a political death squad. It is official. Their official book, their official imams, and their actual actions when they are in power are all ample evidence.
There is no special protection for political death squads.

Google the Nazi Connection to Modern Islam by Chuck Morse. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was in Germany and wanted the Luftwaffe to bomb Jerusalem which had a Jewish majority population at the time. He was tried and convicted in abstensia at Nuremberg.
I'd think that the Founders would have had a strong sense of community, and of the "church" being a central gathering point for the community, and would wonder why the people behind this mosque were locating it far away from the community that it is supposed to serve.

Very good eye! With freedom and rights come responsibility. This Imam called us equally guilty to the 9/11 perpetrators as terrorists. Now, Hillary has funded him going to the Middle East on our tax dollars to get him out of the news and portray him as a supporter of the US.
They would of responded something like this:
“It’s not the Government’s role in deciding if a Church, Mosque, Synagogue, or Temple can be built on private land. It must be left up to the good people of New York and their elected officials, who have complete control and responsibility over local zoning ordinances, and who understand best the sensitivities of people who live and work in the down-town region near ground zero.”
Of course it makes sense to question the mosque's location.
and OF COURSE it is evident to anyone with a brain that the move is insensitive and horrific.
Does the Islamic community REALLY want people who visit ground zero and who will be visiting the future memorial there to see the spires of an ISLAMIC MOSQUE? To hear the wailing from the turrets loud speaker as muslims are reminded to pray? Is this IN YOUR FACE move meant to heal? Or is it meant to remind those visiting that Islam rules?
And since it is KNOWN to most well read and interested people that Islam ALWAYS builds a mosque on or over or beside the place where they have made a CONQUEST- what are people with common sense and deep sympathy for those who lost loved ones and friends supposed to think?
People who do NOT BELIEVE, such as myself, that ANY ISLAMIC building anywhere NEAR the site of that tragedy are not wrong thinking. Quite the contrary. THey are sensitive to those who were murdered and their families and friends.
Not only are those who would support the building of this piece of conquest out of place in their thinking but cruel to boot.

Obama was most strategic in doing away with the official vernacular of the “War on Terror”. With such, the mosque might be viewed as establishing a military base on the beach after a successful invasion. It is a well known fact that terrorists are recruited in such venues, and where more inspiring than Ground Zero?
