...He reports that there was zero reaction to the ground zero mosque from the front-line right or anyone else except marginal bloggers when The Times first reported on the Park51 plans in a lengthy front-page article on Dec. 9, 2009. The sole exception came some two weeks later at Fox News, where Laura Ingraham, filling in on The OReilly Factor, interviewed Daisy Khan, the wife of the projects organizer, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. Ingraham gave the plans her blessing. I cant find many people who really have a problem with it, she said. I like what youre trying to do.
Have at it :)

At the very least, the name, Cordoba House, must be changed.
That is the first step in a good will gesture from the muslims.
It is the muslims who must show good faith for the actions of their fellow confreres, not the other way around.

Not “blocks away”.
560 feet.
186 yards.
Too close for comfort.

Based on that editorial, I suppose the NYT is now OK with a gun store being opened across from Columbine High School.

HEY BIAS CORRUPT NY TIMES, it is a MOSQUE as well as a community center which I might add there is no community to serve there and there is a mosque near there anyway.
Also why not ask can anyone go to this community center like the YMCA and if women non muslims can go and swim with men, can they work out there in what they want to wear etc.
Also this strip club , well no strippers killed thousands, so what if it was a coat store, so frigging what, why try and say that to just make this a non issue.
This will hurt your messiah , even down here I know a couple who have no said that because of this they will not vote for him.
He and his wife are also saying one thing to us and another to the muslims overseas in their language.
NY times the joke of the press

Oh so now the NYT is following the AP’s lead that it’s really not a “Ground Zero” mosque?

So this is a picture of a landing gear part from one of the 9-11 aircraft in the future site of the mosque at ground zero. So, New York Times, as you know this mosque is at ground zero. The FAA has not rented it to use as storage.

THE ground zero mosque, as you may well know by now, is not at ground zero. Its not a mosque but an Islamic cultural center containing a prayer room. Ahh, the classic "keep telling a lie until it is accepted as the truth" trick.

Well as usual the ignorantly bigoted Left, as represented by Frank Rich, construct a fraudulent straw man and then demand everyone debate on their terms. Sorry Frank why you have to lie to frame the debate to suit your emotion based dogmas, you lose at the start.
There is a mosque 5 blocks away. There is UTTERLY no rational reason for a Mosque here. It is a form of "hate speech". It is sole purpose to inflame and divide.
If, as the sponsors of this monster claim, it is "to promote diversity and tolerance" then they would MOVE the thing because of the harshly negative reaction it provokes in the vast majority of people.
That they refuse to do that show it is NOT about "Diversity" but about the symbolic value of the location.

They are quite welcome to go home to their backwards, 3rd world $hithole countries and build all the mosques and tributes to their moon god that they want.
Misogynism in the name of religion doesn't fly here - nor do we want anything to do with these backward pukes and their form of "law"!

it has also rendered Gen. David Petraeuss last-ditch counterinsurgency strategy for fighting the war inoperative. How do you win Muslim hearts and minds in Kandahar when you are calling Muslims every filthy name in the book in New York? Here's Frank Rich's logic:
Islam is a religion of peace.
Our military is fighting against radical Islam.
Using our right to free speech protesting the mosque makes the members of this religion of peace angry.
The members of this religion of peace will respond to our exercising our right to self-determination by fighting our military...which is fighting against radical Islam.
Don't think you thought this one through, Frank.

THE ground zero mosque, as you may well know by now, is not at ground zero.
And the New York Giants aren't in New York, and the Sea-Tac Enterprise Rent-a-Car is not at Sea-Tac. How's this for a workable definition? A radius based on the longest shadow made by the original Twin Towers?

The mosque and Ground Zero is not a mosque and is not at ground zero.
Ok, but they want to play that caterwauling 5 times a day, oh but it is not a mosque. They are praying there now 5 times a day, oh but it is not a mosque.
The building was damaged by one of the planes in the 911 attack, but it is not at ground zero.
Leftism is a mental disorder. As usual, the Left suppants fact and reality with make believe wishful thinking. Thank God not all people are inflicted with Chamberlain's disease.
