It’s a first for first ladies: Michelle Obama and Laura Bush will appear together next month on the 9th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks in Shanksville, Pa., where United flight 93 went down after the crew and passengers fought back against terrorists.
Administration officials said the event will build on Michelle Obama's focus on the heroes of Sept. 11 — celebrating their heroism, honoring their memories and supporting their families.

Yep. And the polls (dunno which ones) actually show Me-chelle more popular than her husband. Dem. politicians don’t want Barack campaigning with them but they do want Michelle. I’ll bet that weasel Sestak finds a way to worm himself into that ceremony.
For any that have not been to the Shanksville location, it is worthwhile. Humbling and emotional. The first strike back at the enemy by ordinary people under most extraordinary events. I was able to get there a few weeks before the 5th anniversary. I was impressed at how the locals volunteered their time to greet visitors and maintain the site. They considered it an honor.
Exactly—after her Queen of Spain act and his Mosque gaffe, the WH is desperate. There’s no way Laura could refuse the request but there’s no way this MO appearance will fool anyone who isn’t an idiot.

You should have read previous posts that explained that Laura Bush was already committed to this event.
They shoehorned the M-word in to try to show that she and Obama care about 9/ll.
They don’t and she will present a horrible contrast to Laura Bush who will, of course, be classy and gracious.
