Ann Coulter on WND: 'They're a bunch of fake Christians'

WASHINGTON – Conservative pundit Ann Coulter intensified her attacks on WND last night on Fox News Channel's "Red Eye" show, accusing those at the largest independent news site who dropped her from the "Taking America Back National Conference" in Miami of being "fake Christians."

Coulter claimed she was never actually booked for the event, repeated her resentment over publishing her e-mail explanations to WND Editor Joseph Farah for appearing at GOProud's Homocon event and lashed out at WND for "pushing the birther thing," which she said is not supported by any conservatives.

"These are fake Christians trying to get publicity," said Coulter.

Previously, Coulter called Farah a "publicity whore" and a "swine" for WND's decision to drop her upon learning of her plan to speak to the homosexual Republican group.

In response, Farah issued the following statement: "Coulter called me a 'publicity whore' for my decision. But look who is on television talking about this – throwing mud, name-calling, smearing not only me but my entire staff. I will not engage in the kind of ad hominem attacks that have made Coulter so famous and that are making her even more of a media darling in this age of reckless anger and character assassination for the sake of entertainment. Every day, since we made this decision at WND, I thank God for giving me the clarity of mind and discernment to make the right choice."

Farah may have his faults but he certainly has done a lot to spread conservative news and issues. To call him a “fake Christian” is pretty nasty.

To say that he learned fact checking from Walter Duranty, however, would be dead on.

And a disregard for the principle of seeking and insuring truth on the scale that Farah practices is a stick in the eye of Christendom (Not that the current state of once christian universities and the old mainline churches arent even more damaging.)

Farah's behavior provokes counter attacks even from the most unlikely quarters.

I am not attacking his salvation. I AM attacking his accuracy and any claim anyone might wish to make ascribing civility to his behavior.

You are the one that is conceptually challenged and seem to like to project your CES inspired conclusions upon Coulter and how she will preform when she speaks to various groups.

Using your tainted logic, Coulter supports liberalism as the colleges at which she speaks are full of them.

I'm not sure it is a good idea for you to lecture anyone about logic, when you are unable to spot the elements that make your comparison invalid. If Coulter were going to liberal colleges to address liberal audiences, you would have a good analogy. If she were going to liberal colleges to address "Commies for Conservatism", you would have a decent analogy. However, Coulter goes to liberal colleges to speak to groups like the college Republicans and the like. She does not get invited there by liberal groups. In fact, the liberals usually try to prevent or disrupt her speaking engagements. In the case of the homos, they are the liberals inviting her, and she has accepted, and I am certain she will not be using the occasion to admonish these people for their public sexual deviancy. No doubt she will discuss many conservative topics, but she will not condemn homosexuality while there. I am certain of that, and if you followed her career well enough, you'd know that too.

Finally, I don't have to go into a Starbucks to see hippies, commies, and homos. I live in California. I could throw a stick from my front door and hit three of each. I think people, such as my self, have a greater understanding of what we're up against than those of you who live in your little bubbles. But thanks for your concern, there, Sinkie.

I was referring to her comment, not her appearance. The word “hate” is over used, by the way, as a way of trying to intimidate those who dissent from the liberal orthodoxy. But since you raised it, the sodomite lifestyle is a hateful thing - if you really know people in that lifestyle very, very well.

I suppose whether I would approve of Coulter’s appearance would mainly depend on what she says to the HomoCon. On the whole, she probably ought to have taken a pass.

Posting style is the same, but I've never seen her attack like this before. I believe Global is an acute diabetic. Low blood sugar can sometimes cause irrational behavior.

You cannot imagine, in your overblown sense of self-importance delusion, how little I care about your judgment of my opinion.

If you want to believe that what Farah has to offer somehow qualifies as journalism...have fun with it. I have done my own research and I've made it clear that I will not give him more web-hits to provide you with all the links and articles that prove he is much more interested in website visits than accuracy in reporting.

It really is a simple formula. The more outrageous the claim, the more hits WND gets. That is what Farah is all about. He doesn't care if he is right or wrong, or if you agree or disagree, as long as you hit the WND link.

So...for the third time, that is my opinion. Do you get it now?
