The west would still be like that had it not been for the rise of Christianity. The west will become increasingly more like that as Christianity is rejected

you are very right!! this country is falling like a rock toward this type of bahevior. We have always had extremeists but they were never accepted as mainstream. With the new “tolerance” kick, we seem to accept anything in the name of diversity....well, killing an albino because he/she is a witch is indeed diverse. But of course there are those who would avoid condemning the action based on the perps upbringing, country, race, etc. Let’s welcome more illegal aliens into our country, let’s get a bunch more from the middle east (where they can’t even get along with each other) let’s open our doors to every piece of human debris who wants to make this home. These people do not want to integrate with our society, they want to take it over. Control them, regulate them, supervise their immigration or lose the country

"...well, killing an albino because he/she is a witch is indeed diverse."

Women in this country are already empowered with killing their unborn child if they decide they don't like the results of pre-natal genetic tests. Or...if they merely feel like it.

We may have more clinically neat and sophisticated means of effecting the same ends, but there are large and vocal segments of this society that are no better, or any different, and the rest of society gives sanction to their activities by turning a blind eye.
