They are all just people. People are people. And people call people names and throw out insults to their friends and their enemies and terms like "retard" can be both endearing or insulting.

But what irritates me is the constant haranguing of the left and even some here on Free Republic to take away the language and to basically remove these terms like retard or moron or idiot or other insulting terms of endearment from the language because "someone might be offended". GASP! The Liberal mindset is to always look for something that might offend somebody else and then claim that offense for themselves. Morons!

The point of these pejoratives is to offend, either in a joking manner or in an insulting manner. It is the nature of language to use it to convey our thoughts, be they clean or impure.

Jennifer Aniston called herself a retard. Big Deal.

Anyone who is offended by that is a retard.

Anyone who is offended by that is a moron.

Anyone who is offended by that is an idiot.

Anyone who is offended by that has a mental disability.

Anyone who is offended by that is a LIBERAL!!!
