On that, I do not know. All I know is the perception of the taboo-ness of it. If he were forced to eat a piece of bacon on TV - live, mind you - then I’d be happy because he had to do something he didn’t want to just to show he isn’t a Muslim and to get the votes he wanted.... even then, I still wouldn’t believe him.

Besides that slice of ham was extremely pricey, $99.99 a lb and he only ate about a dollar’s worth, so in the name of taquiyya I am sure the muslims would forgive him. Now if he was seen eating ham and eggs or having a nice pork roast or some pork barbecue. Well, I suppose even that could be taquiyya.
