After months of endorsing Republican candidates across the country, Sarah Palin has put her name behind a different group — UND’s hockey team.
Former Alaska Gov. Palin autographed a Fighting Sioux hockey jersey that is now taking bids on popular auction website eBay. After being posted Thursday evening for $250, bidding on the jersey was already up to about $400 by Friday afternoon.
But Adam Jones, the North Dakota Republican party executive director, said UND fans shouldn’t read too much into Palin’s autograph.
