Target and its corporate retail cousin Best Buy are continuing to suffer fallout from donations to a Minnesota group that backed a gay-marriage opponent for governor. On top of organized consumer boycotts and public pressure campaigns, some of the retail giant's investors are up in arms, according to the Associated Press.

The anti-Target effort among consumer activists, meanwhile, continues to draw a strong online following, with petitions and viral videos — even though one cable network has rejected a national ad buy from liberal group MoveOn.org urging a Target boycott. MoveOn's political action committee has, however, placed a video of an impromptu musical protest at one Target store on YouTube, where it has already garnered more than half a million views. You can watch the video here:

Everyone needs to take time out and buy something at Target today.....anything.

Watch that video and then explain why every Security Guard does not have a Taser. Why can these people take over a store? Imagine if 2 Tea Partyers did the same thing! It would be national news!

I will go to target today and buy something.

If they did that at Costco, they might have gotten shot.

I spend more money at Target then I should. I’m there everyday. Two minutes away. I still have gripes about Target tho.

I hate their brand logo. All you see is that arrow but the generic name is so small you need a glass to find it. There is NO instant recognition. All you see is arrows. That sucks!

Their advertising agency don’t know anything about advertising.

They are cutting down on so many products, they’re going to have to change their name to “Little Target”.

I thought gays had talent? Must be all of the ones with talent are actually working.

If that is all one gets for a donation to moveon.org, they should ask for a refund.

Pressure groups can be incredibly effective.

CONSERVATIVES NEED TO STUDY AND IMPLEMENT THEIR STRATEGIES.

I just finished reading an article on Wayne Wheeler, the man who coined the phrase “pressure group.” He’s the guy responsible for the 18th Amendment (prohibition), which apparently would not have been possible with 16th Amendment (income tax) as Federal revenue was heavily dependent on alcohol taxes.

In his time, Wayne Wheeler was considered the most politically influential man in the United States, now in the dustbin of history, but we’re still living with his legacy - unfortunately.

This country is being ruined by pressure groups. I would never advocate for something which is day by day destroying this nation.

Sorry to disagree with you. In today’s political climate, with the MSM spewing leftist propaganda, it’s my view that conservatives need to utilize the oppositions tactics.

Melanie Morgan is holding a “protest” in front of Jodie Evans (code pinko) home today to bring attention to Jerry “moonbeam” Brown accepting money from a subversive organization.

Do you believe this would get news coverage otherwise?
