GAINESVILLE, Fla – A Florida church that was denied a permit for its controversial plan to burn copies of the Koran on Sept. 11 says the book burning will continue anyway.
The Dove World Outreach Center drew international attention after announcing its plan to burn copies of the Islamic holy text on church grounds to mark the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Gainesville city officials denied a burn permit for the center Wednesday, saying an open burning of books is not allowed under the city's burning ordinance.
But in an e-mail sent out later that day, the church said, "City of Gainesville denies burn permit -- BUT WE WILL STILL BURN KORANS."

It was founded in 1986 by Donald O. Northrup and Richard H. Wright[1], and became known for participating in charitable endeavors.
It also formerly owned a subsidiary church in Waldo, Florida in the 1980s (led by Donald J. Wright) and a sister church in Cologne, Germany, Christliche Gemeinde Koln[2][3], which had been founded and led by Jones, a Missouri native, from 1981-2008 (initially as a branch of Maranatha Ministries), after which the church continued under newer, independent leadership. It is currently the largest non-Catholic church in the Cologne/Bonn metropolitan area.
The church also maintains a Dove World Outreach Academy in Gainesville, in which students are prohibited from outside contact and work without compensation in selling, packing and shipping of furniture for TS and Company[4].

This is a terrible publicity stunt, which will help only muslims and hurt Christians. It makes Christians look like a bunch of radical reactionaries and fuels all the crap in the media we have to see each week. Every time somebody does something like this the MSM can ride it for weeks and use it to distract from anything offensive being said or done by other people. Don’t give the enemy opportunities to undermine your cause.

A good place to start looking and asking is with the bailout of AIG and how that suddenly turned all their insurance policies sharia compliant . Add to that the health insurance that everyone except for muslis will soon have to carry and now you have found of way for non muslims to be forced to finacialy support islamic jihad .
