Free speech is between you and the government. It is not - or at least it should not be - between you and your employer. Agreed. A lot of people don't understand this. I used to be an Admin Moderator on a forum and members would always yell "freedom of speech" if I edited or deleted content. "Not on my website" would be my reply. Even had several lawsuits threatened.

I’ve moderated a few boards as well and I almost never, ever, edited or deleted posts. The only time I’d do it is if it contained stuff that could get the board removed / suspended / in legal trouble.
