As US voters debate the opening of the Ground Zero mosque, the first Muslim college plans to open its doors this academic year, the Daily Beast website reported Thursday.
Zaytuna College, located in the college town of Berkeley, California, is set to be the first accredited institute of higher education in the US that defines itself as Muslim.

I was born and raised about 20 miles from Bezerkly. I spent a lot of time there in the early 1980’s. I was at the Cal-Stanford “tip-toe through the tuba’s” football game in 1982.

Will this new Muslim college be coed? That could be problematic as it would require separate entrances in all buildings for women, a religious police enforce to enforce hajab and extra dorm space for fathers and brothers who will need to escort the coeds whenever they go in public not to mention goat stables.
If I ever hire employees again (which depends on a return to a free market and responsible government spending), I’ll keep the name of that college in mind appropriately.
