'Morning Joe' Panels Condescendingly Smear Opposition to Ground Zero Mosque – for Two Days Running

For two days running, MSNBC's "Morning Joe" seemed overwhelmingly in favor of allowing the Ground Zero mosque to be built, despite a poll showing Americans being opposed to the construction of the mosque.

The panels included co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, and liberal columnist Mike Barnicle as well as MSNBC contributors Mark Halperin, Norah O'Donnell, and Pat Buchanan. Their toughest rhetoric was reserved for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, due to his comments about the mosque being the equivalent of Nazis hanging a swastika next to a Holocaust memorial. But the talking heads also failed to give the American people's opposition to the mosque its just due.

Gotcha. They are afraid this will bring him and Obamas ‘Christian background’ out from under the rug where it was swept by the anti-american media.

Sometimes I watch just so I can have a good laugh watching Mika & the various childish facial expressions she always makes!!

Nah, they're just bringing that up so they can tar Republicans with it. I haven't heard one Republican bring up Obama's race. I'm sure it's not coming up in town hall meetings and when they meet voters in their districts. Yet you have Grover Norquist on CSPAN cautioning Republicans not to focus on this. And Joe Scarborough dutifully picking it up and running with it.

The Dems have nothing positive to run on. What they're really afraid of is having to defend ObamaCare and this economy. So they change the subject. This mosque story is only a story because Obama decided to step in it.

Someone called in to Rush yesterday about Brian Williams catching zero in a “Muslim faith” flap and I had never heard of that one before. Rush asked if it was the Steffi interview but the caller was insistant that it was Williams/NBC.

Network journalism and Hollywood becoming slaves to their own orthodoxy no matter how out of touch with real America, with destructive effects upon both as viewers turn to alternate sources of news and entertainment.

Come to think of it, Dana Perrino has Mika Brzezinski skinned a mile in the blonde infobabe department, JMHO.

Dana Perino was on Fox & Friends one morning and I learned why the gal always sits in the middle of the set. Dana was seated crosswise off to one side and she was wearing a black skirt which I swear was slit up to her hip.

That only lasted about a minute and then they did nothing but tight closeups or ran the crawler chyron to hide her legs. After the break, Dana was seated in the middle. Va-va voom!
