MIAMI – Conservative superstar Ann Coulter launched a verbal assault on WND Editor Joseph Farah today, calling the veteran journalist "swine" and a "publicity whore" after she was dismissed as a keynote speaker for the news site's upcoming "Taking America Back National Conference" here.
"[F]arah is doing this for PUBLICITY and publicity alone," Coulter wrote in an e-mail to the Daily Caller, a political site founded by journalist Tucker Carlson.

MANY here on FR, much more knowledgeable than I on this issue, would disagree wholeheartedly with that assertion.

If Coulter wants to pander to CNN, MSNBC, and MS Fox News....that is her choice. However, don’t claim you are still a conservative.

Ann Coulter is an attorney with a constitutional law background. She knows that the odds of getting any court to declare Barack Obama ineligible, especially based on a record which consists of nothing more than conjecture, are insurmountable. When she believes that the birthers do more harm to conservatism than good by pursuing their claims, she is staking out a position that is perfectly reasonable. I believe that the birthers can and should continue their quest but they must be absolutely scrupulous in their claims and much more professional in their lawsuits. I have been predicting for more than a year that the lawyers for the birthers were entirely unprofessional and even unbalanced and their unprofessionalism would do their cause and conservatism great harm.

Funny that someone would describe themselves as an expert in “Constitutional Law” when they ignore Article II, Section I, of our US Constitution. There is a reason why Coulter is a glorified blogger and not a practicing attorney. Also, a Certificate of Live Birth is not a BC, Ann.....if you have his Hawaii B-C we would like to see it

Ann just lost her whole platform. This is why she is mad. She will probably now write a book on how to be a lesbian/homosexual and be conservative then sign up as a writer for Huffington Post. She will not be on the best seller’s list anymore.
I am curious — would Coulter support Laura Schlessinger’s use of ‘nigger’? I would, for the reasons Dr. Laura gave. The word is used in normal conversation by blacks of all ages with other blacks. It is racist to demand that whites not use it.

Farah did the same thing to Bill O. when they parted ways. The breakup wasn’t pretty.
Farah picked up O’Reilly after the website he originally wrote for, APB.com, went under. O’Reilly was at WND a real short time, and jumped ship just a few months after WND signed him. It would not surprise me that Rupert Murdoch and Prince Alwaleed bin-Talal told Bill O to leave WND.
Ann called the 6 out of 10 Americans who doubt Obama’s eligibility “CRANKS” and used the KKK to make her point.
Probably wont’t be long before Ann chops off that blonde mane for a butch crew-cut and takes a chair at MSNBC.

Farah may be a nice guy and WND is interesting. I don’t respect them because of the way they weave news in with advertisements. They are also fringe with many of their breaking stories. Like the Iraqi WMD ships that were supposedly circling the globe after we invaded.

There are plenty of examples of homosexuals who have chosen to leave that lifestyle and have led healthy and happy lives.

Ann is not Catholic. To the best of my knowledge, she belongs to no denomination. Her mother was a Presbyterian from Kentucky who had vowed never to marry a Catholic. He father was, nonetheless, a practicing Catholic of Irish ancestry. Ann sometimes attends Catholic Masses and Protestant services but has apparently never chosen to affiliate. Ann has written about this in a book. I believe she wrote about it in Godless.

Due to lack of any real evidence, they resort to the traditional course of rhetoric which is ridicule. Outside of that, the two primary arguments are
(1) Why didn't the Clinton's bring it up since they would surely have the goods if any were to be had.
(2) The birth announcements in the local papers.
The reason why The Establishment likes these arguments is because they have been largely left alone by the Birthers. In the case of the Clinton argument, the presupposition are that the Clinton Machine is omniscient, that the Clintons are only about the Clintons, and that there would be some benefit to the Clintons by releasing documents detrimental to Barry's career.
These presuppositions, are not challenged by the Birthers, yet are very easy targets. By the mere fact that Barry, a true cipher, is in office should be more than adequate proof that the Clintons are not omniscient and are highly dependent on a machine that they don't control. It would be easy to point this out by simply asking the anti-Birther this question: "Who has more power, Soros, Clinton or Soetoro?" The pause before the answer should be more than ample in demonstrating the point.
The second argument they make is that the only two reasons why there would be a birth announcement in the Hawaiian papers would be either Occam's Razor - that Barry was indeed born in Hawaii, or that before Barry was born The Machine was planning on Barry assuming the Presidency. This latter argument is supposed to make Birthers look stupid since it creates a false notion that there are only two choices. Birthers should ask the mocker who was Barry's maternal grandmother. What was her career and social standing? Considering the social norms of that era, it would be very embarrassing for a VP of a bank to have to admit that her grandson was born in that third world Hellhole Kenya to her kook daughter and communist agitprop "father".
I can just as easily propose that Stanley Ann called mom about the birth, and mom said "get your ass back home on the first flight - I'm wiring you money for a ticket right now." The announcement in the paper reflects a grandmother who is conscious of social standards. Remember, this was the era when wayward daughters were "vacationing out in the country" so that she wouldn't be parading around town with very visible evidence of fornication. (yes, I know she was married at the time) That scenario fits much, much better in what we know about Barry's first few years of life.
I think the problem with those in the Establishment Media is that Ann, Rush, Beck et al, are concerned about their careers. If Dr. Laura can lose her gig over a word that is rather commonplace but has been made taboo by the Unseen Hand, then surely being an outspoken "birther" can also get you shuffled off to having your voice heard only on a minor internet blog.
If you won’t defend marriage you won’t defend any tradition, including the rule of law and the Constitution, and the peace of our shores. What use are you as an American? Send these people away. They are AWOL against our domestic enemies.
