Thanks - the libs (and their ideological father) would LOVE us Christians to just “keep it to ourselves”. Most liberals that I know who name the name of Christ have the wordly attitude that it is “more polite” to keep it to yourself,

but there is NO BIBLICAL SUPPORT for such a position.

In fact, if a father “keeps his faith to himself”, he is DERELICT in his duty as a father.

Very much agree....JOBS certainly, and also....failed stimulus that has kept us in a depression....the huge amount of debt his administration has levied against our kids and their kids, and THEIR kids.....costs rising - not falling - in healthcare....wife as vacationing queen....the mess on Wall Street......his anti-business stance....always blaming everything bad on Bush......his unwillingness to get rid of illegal aliens and their kids....

Anything and everything.....then, in the last 15 days before the election (from October 17th onward), start putting our well founded, conservative ideas out there. Let's get some LEGAL immigrants to this country into campaign adds telling all how they feel about the illegals.
Let's chomp the administration for not paying enough attention to the mess that their administration has made of handling legal immigrants (waiting period to even get into the country can exceed a year!!!).

Your verses offer proscription on bragging about your piety.

That is not an admonition to “keep your Christianity to yourself”.

Maybe you can see the difference. Maybe.

“Go and make disciples of all nations” is not called The Great Commission in order that we “keep it to ourselves”.

But isn't that what all of this is about? The complaint is that the President isn't publicly displaying his relgious abservance. He isn't going to church in public. He's not making a big display of going to church.

I'm just repsponding to the a few of the comments that have been made here. I don't and could never defend Obama for anything he has done. I just don't attack people for not making a big public ostentatious display of their faith.

He's very possibly a crypto-Muslim and maybe that's the reason, but just because I have never seen him go to church is not a reason to attack him. Most people in this nation believe that one's faith is a private matter between himself and his God.

I never shy away from witnessing to someone if it is needed, but I don't wear my religion on my sleeve.
