AP advises staff on location of Islamic center and mosque (bans the phrase "Ground Zero mosque.")

The Associated Press, one of world's most powerful news organizations, issued a memo today advising staff to avoid the phrase "Ground Zero mosque." The Upshot reported Tuesday that the AP started using the phrase "Ground Zero mosque" in some headlines in late May. The New York Times, for one, has consciously avoided that phrasing. The AP began using the phrase as the controversy over the proposed Islamic cultural center and mosque in Lower Manhattan started bubbling up to the national level. Many news organizations, across platforms, routinely dub the project the "Ground Zero Mosque." The AP has always been clear in the text of stories that the project would be built two blocks from Ground Zero and not on the actual site. But AP headlines, at times, ran with the phrase adopted by opponents of the project and amplified by the media. Now the news organization is taking steps to make sure that no longer occurs. "We should continue to avoid the phrase 'ground zero mosque' or 'mosque at ground zero' on all platforms, said Tom Kent, the AP's deputy managing editor for standards and production, in the memo the news organization shared with The Upshot. (The full memo can now be viewed here). Kent said in the memo that the AP has "very rarely used this wording, except in slugs"â€” shorthand description of the story sent over the wire.

About 80% of Americans are UNIFIED against this mosque.

DEHUMANIZING TRADITIONAL AMERICA, THE OBAMA GOAL

That makes no difference to the national socialist elite in power, they want to cow America with their Utopia. The former needless genocidal 9/11 sacrifice of 3800 innocent lives is trumped by “ minority rights.” This is just the beginning if Obama and his national socialist junta is allowed to stay in power. People in general should make no mistake about it.

The dehumanization of the 9/11 victims is the goal Obama has.Once this is accomplished, the sky is the limit for this sort of thing.He means to define who is humanand who is not. And then we are to watch silently as Obama’s plan to isolate and disempower middle America socially , politically and economically accelerates. Dehumanization of sectors of society is a major fascist technique. So far he has dehumanized many, including the Fort Hood shooting victims, as the sanctity of Muslims is preserved in our military over the necessity for American justice and the future protection of our military personell.

On a parallel matter, Obama is redistricting America as we speak, using the 2010 census. The defining parameters will be to cloister racial and ethnic minorites into their own Congressional constituncies. Subsequently the plan is to pit that block of racial and ethnic minority voters against the rest of America. The “ minority rights” aspect of this mosque argument will then be applied to budgeting. Special federal programs to provide “historical justice “ for the so called ‘exploited” will be put in place. Using fannie / freddie for affirmative action lending nearly destroyed our nation and the world economy, and now Obama wants to remake Fannie /Freddie? You can imagine the image in which he will remake these bogus institutions, even Barney Frank is bailing.

There is a very large comprehensive plan, and the mosque right now is the icon on a much larger political battle front. America is kept ignorant of this larger battle. The Obama Utopia is a cultural mosaic, not a melting pot, and he is quietly going about this redefinition of America which will now be rammed down our throats , using his executive powers, the Supreme Court, and a cowed Congress.

Obama will not unite America, he intends to divide it and conquer it, and will use force to do so if he thinks it necessary.Thats why he manifests a burgeoning Secret Service personal security plan which now freezes our municipalities as he travels about our nation.Its a message, part of his campaign to cow America into submission.

This mosque must not be built, if it is, it will likely be destroyed. As Rush Limbaugh says, can one imagine building a Shinto Temple adjacent to the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor, 10 years after it happened there?

Their 2008 IRS 990 that nonprofits must submit show income of ZERO! NADA! NOTHING! Total expenses were $2,767.00 and their net assets were $18,255.00. $1,965.00 was spent on travel.

Rauf, Bennett and Kahn were the only directors. The books, etc. were handled by the same people.

Some Freepers may know me for my past posts regarding nonprofits. There are WAY too many nonprofits in America and the nonprofit corporation laws have been substantially abused in this county. Way too many nonprofits are in business to enrich their handlers, push a particular political or social view or to outright compete against real corporations who make money and pay taxes.

This groups "exempt purpose", the reason they say they should not pay taxes is:

"The organizations primary exempt purpose is to bridge the divide between America and the Muslim world through dialog, policy initiatives and education. The organizations objectives include the following:

*Increase intercultural understanding, tolerance and respect, both in muslim societies and the west.

*Stimulate fresh thinking about peace in the middle east.

Their "Statement of Program Service Accomplishments" says:

For the Cordoba Initiative, 2008 was a planning and fundraising year that laid the groundwork for a major 2009 symposium entitled "Women's leadership and activism in the Muslim worls". Shirin Ebadi,the Iranian woman who won the nobel peace prize, will be giving the keynote address; and the symposium will include a variety of other progressive mMuslim women who are working for human rights, respect for the dignity of women, and improved relations between the Muslim world and the West. The symposium will take place at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. In addition, the Cordoba Initiatives 2008 work will also include preparations for a 2009 scholarly study of how "Shariah" (Islamic Jurisprudence) supports core vsalues of Democracy, Human Rights and the rule of law."

Over the years I've read over 100 IRS 990's. As far as I can tell this outfit up until 24 months ago did not have the money in hand to buy a new Ford F150, much less any kind of real estate. And there was no way they had the money to build an outhouse, much less something in New York city.

There is NO WAY that these people have raised as much money as they will need to do this project unless they have a substantial donor or government money incoming. Something is way off here. Way off! Where is the money coming from? The Saudis? Or is it us? Recently it has been said that the Obama administration has been using US taxpayer money to rebuild or build mosques in other countries. Has that money or other taxpayer dollars been sent abroad then funneled back in to this "project".
