Seven cartels operating in Los Angeles

Back when we were warning that the Mexican cartels are active in our country there were many who continued to believe they operated only in Mexico. They now control virtually all drug smuggling activities in our country and also 23 countries of eastern and western Europe and parts of north Africa. Our Secretary of Homeland Security continues to tell us the border is secure. You be the judge.

Los Angeles Police Department Lieutenant Alvin Jackson said the Los Zetas, Sinaloa, and Gulf Cartels are operating in the city. Los Zetas recently began moving drug operations into Los Angeles after their early forays into Texas. The Los Zetas, comprised of Mexican army deserters, originally worked as the armed wing of the Gulf Cartel in the late 1990s until they consolidated their own criminal organization. Other cartels operating in the Los Angeles area are the Arellano Félix, Beltrán Leyva, Sinaloa, La Familia, Carrillo Fuentes, and Gulf Cartels.
The more the Mexican government discourages emigration to the US the better for us.
