WASHINGTON (AP) -- New applications for unemployment insurance reached the half-million mark last week for the first time since November, a sign that employers are likely cutting jobs again as the economy slows.

The Labor Department said Thursday that initial claims for jobless benefits rose by 12,000 last week to 500,000, the fourth increase in the past five weeks. Wall Street economists forecast that claims would drop.

Mr. President, isn't it about time that you stopped playing and leveled with the American people about the true state of the economy?

Obama is a socialist ideologue. Obama will never support free market capitalism no matter how badly his socialist policies fail. Obama’s answer to failed big government policies, more of the same. We keep bleeding the patient and yet he does not seem to improve, more leeches!

“New applications for unemployment insurance reached the half-million mark last week for the first time since November, a sign that employers are likely cutting jobs again as the economy slows.”

A sign that Obama, and the Democrats ideas and leadership have failed, and they don’t have a clue as to what they are doing wrong, or how to fix the economy.

Some might actually want to fix the economy; the others want to bring down the country via Cloward-Piven. They need to be sorted out.

Obama when he talks about spreding the wealth around does not mean here in the USA. He is talking about spreading the US wealth around the world. He hates America. He wants to destroy the USA and people better figure it out soon. He thinks in international terms. He considers himself a ‘citizen of the world’ not an American citizen.

Does this mean the unemployment “rate” will go down, i.e. improve from 9.5% to, say, 9.4%?

As the stock market disconnects from the American economy be very afraid. Obama is not alone in his global visions. He is joined at the hip with many globalist Republicans.

It is possible, but I think the only way that can happen is if a lot more people simply give up looking for work altogether. They’re then considered to be out of the job market.

The MSM will blame the Following:

1) Bush(of course)

2) Corporate America for hoarding cash rather than hiring

3) Fat Cat political donors in the GOP who are trying to derail the economy for political reasons

4) Not enough stimulus

5) Talk Radio for creating a climate of fear

6) America’s racist overtones toward a black president and its subconscious wish him to fail

7) Gulf Oil Spill

8) East coast heat wave

9) not enough regulation in the economy

10) taxes not high enough
