Americans increasingly are convinced — incorrectly — that President Barack Obama is a Muslim, and a growing number are thoroughly confused about his religion.
Nearly one in five people, or 18 percent, said they think Obama is Muslim, up from the 11 percent who said so in March 2009, according to a poll released Thursday. The proportion who correctly say he is a Christian is down to just 34 percent.
The largest share of people, 43 percent, said they don't know his religion, an increase from the 34 percent who said that in early 2009.
The survey, conducted by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center and its affiliated Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, is based on interviews conducted before the controversy over whether Muslims should be permitted to construct a mosque near the World Trade Center site. Obama has said he believes Muslims have the right to build an Islamic center there, though he's also said he won't take a position on whether they should actually build it.

I think the best way to describe our President is as a mis-educated incompetent.
obama was raised muslim, so that is the culture he is familiar with. But like everything else, he is a fake.
He is a phony on everything. No experience in leadership yet he is in a huge leadership position. Claims that he is a Christian, but ignores Easter and Christmas. Plus rev wrong’s church is NOT a christian church. It is front for black revolution. They have more in common with the black panthers than with mainstream Christianity. He is not a true muslim because if he was, he would have gained the respect from the Arab world, instead of their laughter and disrepect. He used the term Christian (warped version) and is now using the muslim religion for a prop. He has no loyalty to anyone but himself. He is siding with the muslims because they are on the side of anti America along with the dimrat party and their media. In a very rare moment of candor, he made the statement that if the political winds went bad, he would side with the muslims. And now he is showing his true colors.
But “Imam Obama” is a great tag for him.
Never forget which party put an enemy of the United States on the ballot and all the media that openly campaigned for him. I won’t.

Now, it is also true that Obama is almost certainly not a pious practicing Muslim, nor is he a pious practicing adherent of any religion. Neither anyone with a serious regard for God as understood by any of the monotheistic religions nor any serious adherent of any of the polytheistic religions nor any Buddhist nor any classical Taoist* could have spent 20 years as a congregant in (ir)Reverend Wright's "church".
* Classical Taoists regard the impersonal Tao in the place of God and ignore the "gods" of Chinese folk religion, other Taoists were already covered under polytheists.

Several prominent Muslims (including Khadafi) claim him as one of their own.
Any true convert would have their complete hatred, not their support.

I think prayers are being answered and the American people are starting to see who this guy really is.
I know President Obama is not a Muslim. However, he is not, even nominally, a Christian.
The reason people think he is Muslim are: “Walk like a duck, quack like a duck, act like a duck, you probably are a duck.”
To Muslims a simple declaration of faith is all it takes to become a member of Islam. Obama has made this declaration many times as a student in a Muslim school in Indonesia as well as learned to recite the Koran. His practice of “Christianity” as preached in Rev. Wright’s church would leave a lot of doubt about him being Christian and he certainly hasn’t spent a lot of time attending a Christian church as president.

Interesting that the poll was conducted BEFORE the Victory Mosque issue reared its ugly head and Obama as usual stood with his co-religionists. No wonder the obamatons are freaking out.
Its kinda funny that the MSM is trying so hard to prove Obama isn’t a Muslim when they are so much supportive of Islam becoming the dominant “religion” so speak on earth, they believe that America will become an Islamic country sooner or later.
Their cowardliness shows like a weak warrior that cannot lift his shield as a fighting group of Spartans fighting together.
