He's got about thirty percent of the country who will stick with him no matter what. Based on what I hear on the Metro and the commuter trains, Black Americans are standing by him, though they're worried sick about a potential Republican backlash. I think their fears are unfounded, but Obama has guaranteed that there will not be a black Democratic Party nominee for another 25 years.

We were discussing the math on another thread a few days ago..Blacks are 12% of the country, and polls show that he still has a 95% approval rate among them...so the 0ther 20%..unions, fed, state, and local govt, and academe..

Black guys say they "support" him, but only to keep the peace with their wives/girlfriends. Most black guys think he's a pansy-tailed sissy, who's probably on the downlow.
