COLUMBUS, Ohio – President Barack Obama used the homey backdrop of a middle-class Ohio family's backyard Wednesday to try to show voters he shares their concerns about the economy, health care and Social Security.

Jacket off and sleeves rolled up, Obama took questions from the Weithman family and a small group of their neighbors arrayed around picnic tables and lawn chairs. His message was familiar: The economy needs more work but it's getting better.

"A lot of it is like recovering from an illness," the president said. "You get a little bit stronger each day."

The event came toward the end of a three-day swing that included glitzy, million-dollar fundraisers. Obama's focus here was more on everyday struggles.

AlGore's planet has a fever and 0bozo's administration has a cold.

Is it 'starve a cold - feed a fever'? I get them mixed up.....

If Obama was a doctor he would be sued for malpractice.

The energizer fund-raising bunny, the internal polls must look really bad.

I cannot believe that a working American would allow a (perhaps) American who’s never worked and wouldn’t know real work if it hit him in his Obama into their yard.

Have they scheduled the toxic cleanup team to remove the slime from their yard when the Obamaloon exits?

From the looks of Algore, I'd say it's 'feed a fever'.

>>President Barack Obama used the homey backdrop of a middle-class Ohio family’s backyard Wednesday <<

I wouldn’t let him in my house, either.

“A lot of it is like recovering from an illness,” the president said. “You get a little bit stronger each day.” “

That is because each day is one day closer to November, 2012 when we can get rid of this charlatan.

“U.S. President Barack Obama talks about the economy with local SEIU families while in Columbus, Ohio.”

There fixed it.

Did he bring his podium and teleprompter to the back yard picnic, just like he did at that deli and the elementary school?

I'd let him into my yard...to clean up after the dogs.

Even the morons in the blue part of Ohio are going to get a wake up call. It’s already creeping into people’s daily conversation.

Healthcare insurance costs are going up. People are concerned about how much it’s going up. I remind them, a 2500 page healthcare reform bill was written by hundreds of people, and not read, in it’s entirity by a single member of Congress.

New taxes on said healthcare insurance? Same answer.

People losing their healthcare. Same answer.

This is hitting people where they live. And I’m going to do all I can to remind them who did it to them. This is what will get people’s attention, and can’t be blamed on GWB, in any way.

By the way, Columbus is in the red part of Ohio. I don’t think BHO is feeling real welcome there.
