ALBANY, N.Y. — A majority of New Yorkers remain opposed to a mosque proposed as part of a planned Islamic cultural center near ground zero, and the issue will be a factor for many voters this fall, according to a statewide poll released Wednesday.
The Siena College poll showed 63 percent of New York voters surveyed oppose the project, with 27 percent supporting it. That compares with 64 percent opposed and 28 percent in favor two weeks earlier, results that are within the polls' sampling margins.

The polls are staggering for Obama and the liberals on this one.
Even a small majority of Democrats oppose the mosque. The people of liberal New York oppose it. Democrat leader Harry Reid came out against the mosque. Rahm Emmanuel is calling other Democrats begging them to not come out publicly against the mosque and against the president.
I do not need to be lectured by Obama about freedom of religion. The real issue is not freedom of religion. They will build that mosque, either there at ground zero or another location.
Few ever note that our open society and our freedoms are taken advantage of by people who would deny us these freedoms if they had the power. This Iman of the mosque believes in Islam and Sharia law. There are no Christian churches in Saudi Arabia. Where Islam is dominant, all other religions are banned. Yet we’re supposed to bend over backwards to prove how tolerant we are of an intolerant religion.
The Union construction workers should refuse to touch the thing. In NY you can’t paint a curb without Union doing it.
So what’s San Fran Nan going to do now? Investigate the entire city of New York????

They need to reinforce their term limit laws & NEVER AGAIN let someone get more terms than the law allows.
