College presidents to advocate 'gay' agenda
One News Now ^ | August 17, 2010 | Bill Bumpas

News that several "gay" and lesbian-identified college and university presidents met recently to organize a push for the homosexual agenda is drawing the ire of pro-family organizations.

Nine presidents of higher-education entities recently gathered in Chicago and decided to form a new organization called LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education. The group agreed that a top priority should be "to push higher education to include issues of sexual orientation when talking about diversity."

Matt BarberMatt Barber, director of cultural affairs with Liberty Counsel, calls the meeting "bizarre," but he is not surprised by the strategy.

"This group of higher-ups within academia [is] going to be, from the top down throughout our universities around the country, pushing the political agenda of the radical homosexual activist left; we are going to see that from them," Barber warns.

But Candi Cushman, education analyst for CitizenLink, points out that most parents do not want university presidents pushing a radical agenda.

"I found it interesting that one of these presidents even said he views advocacy as the role of a college president. I don't think most parents would agree with that," she contends. "I think the role of a college president should be to promote the highest quality environment for academic learning and freedom."

-snip-

The college presidents attending the meeting in Chicago were: Theodora J. Kalikow (University of Maine at Farmington), Charles Middleton (Roosevelt University), Raymond Crossman (Adler School of Professional Psychology), Ralph Hexter (Hampshire College), Charlita Shelton (University of the Rockies), Karen Whitney (Clarion University), Neal King (Antioch University Los Angeles), Katherine Ragsdale (Episcopal Divinity School), and Les McCabel (Semester at Sea). The partners of some of these individuals also attended and held their own discussions.

Well they’ll get Green Jobs, because they won’t be qualified to do anything productive. “Congratulations Graduates, you all have sex. You’re right up their with the Oysters.”

Wonderful. Send your child out to sea and they come back a fag.

It would be too easy to denigrate these colleges - but given that Harvard, Yale et al probably outdo them in “dumbo courses” designed to let even a politician pass...our only course of action is to simply refuse to recognize anyone possessing such marshmallow “degrees”.

I thought it important that I don’t snip that from the edited post.

It is increasingly difficult to justify going to college immediately after high school and running up $50,000-$150,000 or more in student loans. Ordinarily, I’d recommend a short (or long) term of service in the military to focus and learn discipline, but with our current CIC even that is questionable advice. I don’t really know what to tell a graduating high school senior today aside from “if you go to college, choose wisely.”

I was going to make my own comment but you’ve summed it up so clearly that I’ll just say +1.

This is what passes for higher education these days. God save America.

This could be a good opportunity for people to face certain realities:

1: Your intended $80,000 degree in Art History/Gender Issues/Basketweaving is a stupid investment.

2: Your plumber and electrician possibly make more than you ever will.

Most college students should not be there in the first place.

Starve the beast. Learn a trade, or something otherwise practical.. And put these self-anointed education scammers on the breadlines where they always belonged.

Out of curiosity, do you know any Harvard graduates? I’ve known several and I agree wholeheartedly with your statement.

My main problem with homosexuals is their need for everyone else to know what they do with their genitalia. Why should we care what they do with Mr. Happy?

I don’t really care to know what anyone does with their genitalia, heterosexual or homosexual. Keep in your pants and let’s judge you by your other merits.

Eventually the re-education camps, errrr I mean schools, will force every student to participate in homosexual activity to see whether or not they prefer it. They’ll say, “Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it!” And any students who don’t want to participate will be called bigots & homophobes. The tolerance of the left.

...Framingham pupils found themselves answering this Orwellian questionnaire: “1. What do you think caused your heterosexuality? 2. When did you first decide you were heterosexual? 3. Is it possible heterosexuality is a phase you will grow out of? 4. Is it possible you are heterosexual because you fear the same sex? 5. If you have never slept with anyone of the same sex, how do you know you wouldn’t prefer it? Is it possible you merely need a good gay experience? 6. To whom have you disclosed your heterosexuality? How did they react? 7. Why are heterosexuals so blatant, always making a spectacle of their heterosexuality? Why can’t they just be who they are and not flaunt their sexuality by kissing in public, wearing wedding rings, etc.?”

My main problem with homosexuals is their need for everyone else to know what they do with their genitalia.

My problem with the homosexual agenda is its insistence that everyone not just tolerate their behavior but approve of it. This puts the homosexual movement in direct opposition to the Christian Church which must oppose the practice of homosexuality on clear scriptural grounds. Hence, hate speech legislation which is nothing but an attempt to silence opposition.

When one considers that it is that homosexuals do with their genitalia it should make decent people puke!

Shoving one’s pee-pee into another’s poo-poo place, then later during the ‘love making’ ingesting fecal matter is not only mortally sinful and untidy, it’s unhealthy.
