It is disturbing that the scientist speaks as if he can simply remove temperature readings that are grossly and obviously wrong, and the rest of the data will be just fine.
There is no way apparently of knowing whether ANY of the data from this satellite was EVER reflecting realistic values, or even properly showing a trend over the years. The noise value of the measurements far exceeds the actual measurements.
