Everyone loves money. Even people like myself who abhor the abuse of money and commerce, who understand the fraudulent nature of the system we live in, still work hard and save so that we might attain a sense of stability within that system. ... in light of this entrenched way of perceiving things, especially in the U.S., it is difficult enough to convince some people that the economy is in fact not providing the security they desire, but is actually destroying their future completely. To explain to them that this is deliberate, that the economy is designed to self-destruct, that is another prospect altogether.

Todays government knows very well that the less money the general population has, the more control they have over them. The main reason for higher taxes.
Interesting reading. Says the purpose of the destruction is a globalist government and that both parties are owned by the globalists. (TARP anyone??) Direct link :
"We didn't truly know the dangers of the market, because it was a dark market," says Brooksley Born, the head of an obscure federal regulatory agency -- the Commodity Futures Trading Commission [CFTC] -- who not only warned of the potential for economic meltdown in the late 1990s, but also tried to convince the country's key economic powerbrokers to take actions that could have helped avert the crisis. "They were totally opposed to it," Born says. "That puzzled me. What was it that was in this market that had to be hidden?"
Nothing new to me, but an interesting read.

I think that is hard to ignore or refute.
I remember reading an issue of the Kiplinger Letter YEARS ago in which it in effect predicted what is happening now: the spread of manufacturing overseas, the reduction in America’s power and the lifestyle of Americans, but the elevation of the standard of living worldwide as a consequence and how that was a positive thing.
Globalists are as much enemies of America as Marxists.
The world has changed and eveything has become more global. But the leaders we elect should still think and act like nationalists and know how to deal in this new global world wile getting the best for America out of it.
Sadly, they are not thinking along these lines.
Besides greed, he never says what the purpose of the planned destruction is.
But greed does not carry out generations worth of elaborate plans.
While the points he DOES make are true enough, he doesn’t take it beyond the pedestrian level of analysis he complains about.
Thanks for posting I always find great things on ZH and The Market Ticker also Economic Policy Journal glad to see others are reading those too.
If the story is true, it sounds like the perps have planned how to control all forms of “money” including gold. Meaning there is nowhere to hide, unless they leave farmland in private hands so one can subsist. Do I have this right? I am holding onto my farmland in any case...

Whores all!
And so far, they are winning.
Voting in globalist RINOS won’t help us. It will accelerate the destruction.
Okay, but that’s still too jelly-fish like. There’s no hard core club of global ‘elites’ that sustains more than two generations. Simple human nature.
Alright, maybe three generations — 60 years. No longer.
” There are times I can’t believe the passes given politicians because they have an R after their name... “
There are at least 50 FReepers(admittedly out of over 100,000) who will boost, or vote for any candidate with an (R). One just called me a socialist on another thread ;-)

Because the next level requires going Biblical, and he is scared to go there.

I believe that your estimate is way too conservative.
