Kinda makes you wonder if they deliberately put it there on the coast in a vulnerable spot, as in, what else do they have up their sleeve if Israel hit's that nuke plant.

I think they needed a ready water supply, and of course the ability to bring construction materials in by ship. Plus they wanted the plant to be away from people.
I have a feeling there’s a desalination plant nearby as well.
In short, I don’t think we need look further than simple logistics for reasons why this nuclear plant is where it is. A lot of nuke plants are by the sea.
