Have you seen anything that Beck has said that disagrees with the Bible? I haven’t. Untill I do I’m not going to make assumptions on what he believes other then what he has said in print or broadcast media.

I’m one of Beck’s stealth army. I watch his TV program regularly and have seen him on more than one occasion plead with viewers to ‘read your Bible’, the founders did, regularly. Painting Glenn with ALL the sludge of Mormonism is a mistake. And he may not remain a MOmron for the rest of his adult life because he is fast growing into a student of Christianity and will no doubt find the glaring divergences of mormonism.

Have you seen anything that Beck has said that disagrees with the Bible?

On more than a dozen occasions, GB on his radio program keeps going back to the story of where the scene is set in this Universe's God's heaven, there sits the Father, Jesus and Jesus' sibling Satan. They are discussing the hypothetical fall of Adam and "The Father" tests each of His sons as to how they propose to deal with it. Satan's plan is to "force a change upon them and save them that way". Jesus allegedly proposes what is known in theological circles as the Pelagian Heresy.

The context of these outbursts of Glenn has to do with the Mormon proposition that man's salvation is contingent on making "free will choices" in all aspects of his life, and that in the end we will be judged on the quality of our choices.

There is absolutely nothing about that Mormon teaching that in any way aligns with orthodox Christianity which has been a very careful and deliberate understanding of God's Word. Througout the Bible, there are "God's Chosen", first God chose Israel as bearers of the Law. Through our failure to keep the Law we realize our need for a Savior. Jesus Christ, able to keep the Law, imputed His righteousness on to the Elect, which God the Father has chosen for His Son from eternity past.

Mormonism says that Lucifer would do the choosing and would force them. They claim that Jesus will do nothing and let man fail, even if none would come to Christ. Both of these propositions are ludicrous and have zero basis in Scripture. From a simple reading of the Gospel of John we quickly discover that the Father Elects some to eternal life. In Romans we read that these Chosen of God are Vessels of Mercy and that others are fashioned as vessels of Wrath, otherwise known as the "reprobate". Mormonism denies the fundamental doctrines: concepts of reprobation, election, foreknowledge, predestination, santification and a host of others such as "atonement" which is repackaged to mean something very much different from what is taught in Scriptures. The Bible also strongly teaches that all natural men hate God and love their sin so much that they would never seek after God. Clearly Mormons reject the doctrine of Biblical Total Depravity.

I find these rants of Glenn so irritating in that it seems that Glenn either doesn't care or he is ignorant of the fact that he is calling the core Biblical Doctrines of Grace "Satanic". What is even more telling, is during his radio show on 8/17, he admitted to an "expensive study" of his program to see, among other things, what turned people off - its the Mormonism, yet he mischaracterized it and said it was, in the broad sense, "talking about Jesus". Stu had to correct him for being wildly off from what the study results actual said. Its the Mormonism that repels people - just like it hurts Romney's presidential ambitions.

I occasionally look at the Insider Extreme "Feed", which I can tell to everyone here, is an utter waste of time in that 100% of the comments are made by mouth breathing morons whose grade school girls probably twitter to each other more substantive statements. What seems to be a common theme among those messages that are permited to be viewed, is that nearly all people who claim to be Christians are profoundly biblically illiterate and are only capable of expressing their religion in mindless slogans [example]:

"If you respect God, then He will respect you"

What in Hell does that mean? WHat it means to me is that Glenn, who most certainly believes that he is to fulfill the White Horse Prophecy, has PT Barnum's target audience willing to lap up any LDS doctrine he cares to feed them.
