An autopsy will be conducted Monday afternoon for a 3-year-old girl who was found dead in a minivan at a Canton church.
The girl and her three older sisters were at Souls Harbor Word of Faith Church on Sunday while their father, Michael Ingram, rehearsed with the church band. At 5:20 p.m., when it was time to go, no one could find the 3-year-old.
One of her sisters found her on the floor in the back of the family's Kia Sedona, not breathing. The 3-year-old's skin "was hot and wet," the sister told police. Three adults performed CPR, but the girl was pronounced dead at Northside Cherokee Hospital.

The article said she was playing with the other kids outside. They some feel asleep in the pews.I’d say she went back outside and got into the van.
Well, it sounds like the father thought his four kids were together. When I was a kid, I was often in charge of my younger siblings. The article says they fell asleep on the church pews, so I’m guessing they must have all lay down to take a nap together. Then the 3 year old wakes up and toddles off while the others sleep... sometimes awful things just happen. I don’t feel compelled to assign blame on this one. Clearly this is a nice family, and the loss of their baby is punishment enough.
Dreadful. RIP.
Little angel, RIP.
Next week’s sermon:
“Why does God allow numbskulls to bear children?”
I look for my dog if he is missing more than 5 minutes.
A neighbors 3 yr. old daughter got out of thier home on a sunny sunday morning..she had somehow learned to push the inside house button which opened the garage door...out she went. Fortunately a family member got up and found the door open...mad rush to find her sitting in a neighbors yard. Close call and the family then checked all outside doors and changed location of door opener. Kids are watchful...likely how she knew to open the garage door.
