My point is not nearly as important as the ones you made, to be sure; but muslims generally dislike dogs too. What the hell kind of ‘culture’ disdains dogs???
Dogs are man’s best friend, muslims are man’s worst enemy.
Dogs are used to protect property, so perhaps, a culture of brigands and thieves would have reason to disdain dogs.
Dogs are used to protect people, so perhaps, a culture of cut-throats and murderers would have reason to disdain dogs.
Dogs are used to detect illicit drugs, so perhaps, a culture of smugglers would have reason to disdain dogs.
Dogs are used to detect explosives, so perhaps a culture of bombers would have reason to disdain dogs.
Of course, this is all speculation on my part...
Most predators have a dislike for domesticated dogs.
