How many Muslims live in lower Manhatten anyway? I read somewhere that there is a mosque only two blocks away from the site of this proposed mosque.

I have pictures my friend sent me in an email that I can't copy on to this format, but they show hundreds of muslims praying at 42nd and Madison Ave. in the street, an overflow from the mosque. The pictures are incredible. Here's an excerpt from the email:

"This is an accurate picture of every Friday afternoon in several locations throughout NYC where there are mosques with a large number of Muslims that cannot fit into the mosque - They fill the surrounding streets, facing east for a couple of hours between about 2 & 4 p.m. - Besides this one at 42nd St & Madison Ave, there is another, even larger group, at 94th St & 3rd Ave, etc., etc. "-

anyone want me to forward this email, freepmail me.

Where will they find construction workers willing to work on such a building?”

Same place this country is now finding many of it’s construction workers....illegal aliens...for pennies on the dollar.

The Leftists do seem to be masochistic. Islam may be the perfect belief system for them. Self flagellation and bondage fills their need to assuage their guilt.

Following Islam would also be a convenient cover for them, since for all its prattling about homosexuality there seems to be a lot of pederasty going on there.

How about a Christian/Jewish/Muslim combo effort.

True compromise, true unity.

“My guess is this young lad will tell Mahmoud to kiss his royal (Italian, Irish or insert family lineage here) @$$ because the guys from his locals won’t do it, and he won’t say it in Mahmoud’s native tongue either....”

My guess is they’ll import 1,000 Indonesian slaves hold their passports and make them build the d@mn thing. When it’s over poof, 1,000 new muslim citizens!

Of course is still depends on whether our young Harley riding Local puts up with that!

I heard Barnicle on the Morning Smoe show come out with the new Liberal position on it. he says they are just trying to start the ‘American’ tolerent form of Islam. How bout that for Liberalism gone wild. Amazing. Believe me. this is actually how they think.

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/hamas_nod_for_gz_mosque_cSohH9eha8sNZMTDz0VVPI Direct link to the full NY Post article. It's unbelievable! What a gift!!! Money quote: Zahar said Muslims around the world, including those who live in this country, are united in a common cause. Then he suggested fairness as Christians and Jews build their places of worship around the world. Oh, it just gets better and better. While we're building in Mecca, I think at the same time, the Turks should get the heck out of Cyprus and turn the Haiga Sophia back over to the Eastern Orthodox. Wonder if Zero knew this would break and that's why he was reading the 'Survivors Club'? Looks like he'll need the suggestions. At this point, he should be politically DOA. Wonder what Palin is going to Tweet off today.

The question arises, can a country extend Freedom of Religion to a religion that preaches and teaches the destruction of that country and all other religions?

So let's revisit why we have something called a Right to Freedom of Religion.

What was it our Founder's thought was so very important about FREEDOM of Religion that they were compelled to even write about it in a legal sense?

The Founders felt Freedom of Religion was so important, that it had to be be able to stand separate from Government. Why?

Why did the Pilgrims come to America? What were they fleeing?

So, if one answers your question from both a historical viewpoint and a true understanding of the basis on which we have Freedom of Religion, then the answer to your question is true.

And the answer is No.

Do we need a Constitution Amendment clarifying Freedom of Religion or can we rely on the Supreme Court do the right thing (that is to interpret it the way the Fathers intended it) if a case is eventually brought before them?

“Your question is based on a false premise that islam is merely a religion. That is what the muzzies and their supporters would like you to believe. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Islam is far more than a religion. It is a violent political ideology with its own laws and court system. Religion is only one component of islam and is used to impose islam on non muslim societies. Sharia laws are anathema to the U.S. Constitution. The two cannot coexist in the U.S. Allowing a mosque to be built at ground zero will be interpreted by the muzzies Americans are willing to sacrifice the Constitution for Sharia Law. It will only empower them. “

That’s right. We need to repeat ad nauseum that Islam is a violent political ideology masquerading as a religion. It’s making me uncomfortable to hear that “Islam has its radical elements, but it is mainly a peace-loving religion”—as though it’s as harmless as the Methodist church down the street. I lived in a Muslim country, and I WILL say that millions of wonderful people are unwittingly enslaved to its dictates; nevertheless, Islam itself is a soul-killing and freedom-killing tyranny.

Mahmoud al-Zahar said Muslims "have to build everywhere" so that followers can pray, just like Christians and Jews build their places of worship.

Yes, I remember seeing all those churches in Riyadh and Dhahran.....
