Recent weather conditions continue to wash oil from Deepwater Horizon ashore on Walton County beaches from Topsail Hill Preserve to Seaside.

According to Floridadisater.org, various tar covered items and tar patties were found within Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Tar balls and tar patties as large as seven inches were discovered along with tar-covered wood and plastic debris.

Tar patties, balls and oil covered product in various forms from weathered to melting were reported in Santa Rosa, Grayton and Seaside beaches. No “clean beach” reports for Walton County were filed.

How perfect is this? Oblunder not only decides to choose this weekend to promote tourism and the beaches along the Emerald Coast as safe, he chooses the least affected area to vacation, AND after tourist season (worst on record, another Oblunder record).

Weather this weekend could have only been made worse, weather wise by a hurricane. Gulf, too rough for swimming and therefore no photo-op to show him swimming in the now declared state of "Safe" (although he did go for a dip.......in the bay.

Now oil product washes ashore in neighboring Walton County that hasn't seen any for couple weeks.

There are leaks all over the gulf. Maybe the oil is from some other well?

LOL!

That's why he sued Arizona. He did want the law stopping him and asking to see his "papers" when he took "the kids out for ice cream".

Tar Patties Obama:

Form tar patties into similar-sized patties and season with salt and pepper, both sides. Rinse off any Corexit.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet and add diced garlic and onion, simmering until translucent.

Add tar patties, then crushed tomatoes, and cook for 15 minutes, turning once.

(Optional: add 1 lb peeled, deveined gulf shrimp or crawfish.)

Serve over rice or pasta, reserving any remaining liquid for the Prius. Garnish with apathy. There you go. Bon appetit!

Didn’t he just go swimming in the Gulf?
Maybe that’s what’s washing ashore.

Here's the arrogant, marxist, usurper himself. If he really has a 'self' or is the rat really just controlled by the Soros machine and the devil himself.

Sounds like a bunch of whining by typical enviros.

Natural seepage of oil occurs in the Gulf as well as on the Pacific Coast. I’ve frequented Galveston TX since I was a kid in the 1940s and there were frequently tar balls that had been brought in by storms far away in the Gulf. No big thing and the oil seepage is normally taken care of by Mother Nature, unless storms drive it to shorelines first.

Some tanker flush the bilge? Have the tarballs been checked to see if they were actually from the Macundo well?

We can expect episodic deposits of oil from this well for a while yet, and also from other sources as you point out. When I was a child near the end and after WWII, the beaches of NJ had oil/tar from off shore torpedo attacks. I would get it on my feet, and mom would take it off with turpentine. Man that stung, but nobody was making a big deal about the tar. People fuss too much these days about relatively little things. The leak, however, was a very big thing.
