More connected or “in with the Administrations buddy circle” industries get Govt funds due to their critical importance.

Or a bill passes called “The Farm Assist 2011 Package” and buried on page 873, is a provision to provide $400 million to select small urban business owners for yada whatever whatever”. Of course nobody would ever know because of the Bill's title and the long read of 1,567 pages.

So now Joe Somebody and his wife, who DID not overextend but who has been unemployed for a time and is about to get foreclosed upon says “what the hay, all these bailouts, rescues (TEACHERS UNION PENSIONS!!!) etc, why the heck am I the schmuck (sp?) who gets shafted.

But of course along comes the Local Law to boot out those that are not the right kind of bailoutees.

And your point? Like the liberals, you think they should get government money? I am a taxpayer. I can't afford to buy a house. Neither can a lot of people. So because this couple suffered a tragedy, we should pay their tab? What about all the other people that have tragedies? Should we pick up the tab for them too? Backing socialism/communism on FR are we? I don't think so. Charity is what these people need. NOT government money.

So what’s the point. Does Joe Somebody need a bailout too? How about all those homeowners who are not upside down, have equity, but have their property values ‘unfairly’ impacted by all those Joe Somebody neighbors who require a SWAT team perform a foreclosure eviction? Clearly they need reparations.
